I am glad you did your research on my past post, but I was not for Grace then or now. I was trying to help my fellow Seahawks have a realistic perspective. I don't have to do that as much now because things have chilled here. Regardless of all this my advice should be considered by catchandthrow. I am just trying to help because I have been there before.

Was there something wrong with the advice? Is it not the right thing to do talk to the person you have a problem with. I am glad you are refraining from saying anything more because you are correct in it will cause more harm to the Grace baseball team. I don't think after the season will be any better to get on here and be critical. Trust me when I say just go talk to the person about your problems instead of making them so public. I know you said to keep my advice to myself, but what I say has some Biblical reasoning to it even if you don't like it. Silverdale will beat your football team now that Josh is gone. We have some good athletes coming in. We will have to wait and see in the fall.

Here is some free advice. #1 Quit your job and start coaching baseball @ Grace (sounds like you would be great because you would never make a bad decision). #2 Or you can keep your job, but handle the situation like a man and sit down and talk to the coach man to man and discuss the problems and see how you may help. #3 Do none of the above and make yourself sound like a whining parent who teaches young people to always hide and complain on a computer which does nothing to help the problem. I hope you choose #2. I hope my Silverdale boys do well in the tournament. Good luck to the rest!

Watch out for Silverdale!

How are the Seahawkes going to be next year? I heard that they may be getting some new coaches? Any word? I don't want to start rumors. I also heard that next year will be the year they win the region. A young team that matured through a tough season should be ready to control this region. No Nic and Josh for Boyd and Grace equals Wins for Silverdale. What are your thoughts?

I don't need to talk. We made it to the championship. We lost. It took all Grace had to beat a team that wasn't even supposed to be in the game. Good Job and good luck. Wait until Football Season!!!!

I hate to say it but I knew my boys would come through. Going to our first region Tournament.

You should put my Silverdale boys in the mix. We lost some good players, but we have some talent coming up. I think we have some players from GA and AL that will help next year. We should beat SP but they will keep it close I am sure.

Better watch Silverdale. We had DB beat the other day. We are looking to upset DB and Grace.

Who have they beat? Grace? That is the only team I would even mention, but they might be a stretch this year. They are better than last year, but until you play the big boys don't go to crazy about their success.

I think several of them are coming to Silverdale to play for Coach Allen. He really connects with GA players.

I am sure David Brainerd will after they fell apart and got beat by Temple last year.

I did not say we are better this year. What I said was we were better than Grace last year and we are better than them this year. We will see if we are better than last year. We did lose a few good players, but we are loaded coming up. The other thing you must remember is that as long as Coach Allen is on the sidelines then Silverdale will continue to be good. Coach Allen always finds athletes who will come to play. This year will be no different.

No they won't. Every team that can't find a new game gets a forfeit win from Temple so even when they don't play a game they will still lose. I still stand by my thoughts Irootforvols about the Silverdale/Grace game. Silverdale is a much better team last year and this year.

How did Bradley do under him. I know Coach Allen is a winner but they were terrible when he was there. How good was Soddy when he was there?

Did he coach at Bradley? Soddy Daisy?

What makes their journey tougher than the other Christian schools? As far as respect goes, I guess Copper Basin respects them and maybe Temple, but I doubt anybody else. But I guess that would qualify as a little more respect. Just remember who are coach is and know that we will do well even though we lost a lot last year. Coach Allen will have us ready to win the region. He always gets the most out of his players and he always finds somebody to fill our needs.

The only team who can beat us on are schedule is maybe South Pitt. DB was not good last year and they will not be this year. Did they win a region game besides Copper Basin? How could you lose to Temple? Keep living in the dream world that you are good and we will see once the season roles around. Good luck.

You are using the outcome of middle school games to determine how things will finish at the Varsity high school level? I admit our middle school team at times struggled but they didn't have coach Allen teaching them either. There is no way DB makes the playoff and Silverdale doesn't.

Silverdale will not be fourth. this is how it will shape up. 1. Silverdale- We lost a lot, but our JV was good and we have coach Allen. We should have one the region last year, but we had a few injuries. 2. South Pitt- They lost a lot but still return some good players. They will be tough to beat. 3. Lookout Valley- They lost a lot of players but they have some good kids coming up in their JV program. 4. Whitwell- They were young last year but played hard. They will be much improved. 5. Grace- They might be ahead of Whitwell, but we will see. Grace returns some key players, but we killed them last year so they can't be very good. I know we lost the game, but when our QB was healthy they couldn't stop us. We had that game stolen from us. 6. Temple- They will have some new recruits to compliment there young players this year. 7. Copper Basin- Tough year, but they will rebound. 8. David Brainerd- They had a decent year against weak teams, but they will lose to much from last year.
