What is the schedule for the entire tournament?

Can someone give us a rundown of when each team member started their school career in the Farragut High School elementary and middle school system?

NFHS Case Book - 8.2.5 (paraphrased) Runner on first - batted ball to centerfield - ball is caught - runner is between 2nd and 3rd when ball comes back from center and is thrown out of play - runner cannot return to touch first base since he was past a succeeding base when ball went out of play - upon a proper appeal, runner is declared out - if no proper appeal, runner stays at 3rd Basically from Coach Jarvis' situation above, the defensive team should have been able to appeal the runner from 3rd left early.

As far as for the field and setting - Campbell Co has to be one of the best. It's a beautiful view from the top of the hill the ball field sits on. Their bleachers aren't the best, but then, Farragut's isn't either.

When the ball contacts the batter, it is a dead ball. Now, the umpire must judge if the batter attempted to swing at the pitch or not. If he did not, it is a hit by pitch and he receives first base. If he attempted to strike the ball, it is a strike. If the count was 0-2, the kid who just got hit while attempting to hit the ball is out on strikes. stinks for him.

The game has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 28, at 11 am. It should allow for some of the state tournament participants to play. See you there.

The game is cancelled for tomorrow due to rain. It may be rescheduled for next Saturday.

My guess is it is a couple of things. First, they are rewarding those seniors who aren't going to the state with a final game, and second, I believe they just don't have time to wait until after the state tournament to play the game. When school is totally out, those kids will be ready to hit the road and never look back at high shcool.

Yeah, they can't wait any longer into the summer because of summer ball I guess. It's a chance to take some shots with the bat at a professional field. It's a great place to play a game.

There were only seniors there last year. I know there was a least one, maybe a couple more, scholarship(s) offered at the game last year.

The East Tennessee Coaches Association All Star Game is set for 11am this Saturday (May 21) at Smokies Park. I know that players still in the playoffs won't come if they win on Friday, but who all is coming to play?

Farragut won 12-9. Both teams pitched way down in their rotations. Lots of offense. I think 7 or 8 homeruns. Delmonico did come in for the last 2 innings. The real games are Friday.

Was anyone else but myself still around to see how the OR fans treated the umpires after the game. They literally had to jump in their cars and speed away. They did nothing wrong. All they did was accept the protest - part of their job. Grow up people.

Gibbs 12 - Fulton 0 I believe that was the final. It was a quick and easy game for Gibbs.

If you consider Chatt east TN, then the ss at Notre Dame (don't know his name) is one of the best I've seen. I know he's a MTSU signee.

Seymour smoked Maryville in Seymour tonight, 11-1. Seymour hit 4 bombs. Maryville didn't look very good.
