So all these teams will be 6-A?Trying to figure where my team, Cookeville, will go, also then Warren County & Coffee County. As the only 6-A schools in the Upper Cumberland, we're in no mans land once again.

Let's be honest I wasn't expecting to beat Riverdale last night. We haven't played a full 4 quarters until then. Oakland game doesn't count, they're freakin awesome😀. Good to hear from ya Brother.

Nope. I was responding to the poster that said we'd get run off the field tonight, because Cookeville didn't belong in Region 2. When we've now beaten Riverdale by multiple touchdowns both years in this region we can't compete in. Surely you could read that right? Oh and congrats on the running clock bro. I'm sure Riverdale cares a whole lot about that right about now.

Well let's see... Was it the CAVS 21 point win over Riverdale last year or the 17 point win this year that makes you feel that way? Maybe Riverdale is the one who has never been suited for this region. If you actually watched Cookeville vs Smyrna (on channel 30), the CAVS were up 17-6 early in the second. We finally played 4 quarters tonight.

Cavs win 42-21 Prayers for Cookeville WR/CB Kobe Bryant. Suffered a lacerated kidney during the game. Injury happened during the 1st quarter and he played the rest of the game with it. After the game was taken to Medical Center Manchester then transferred to Vandy where he is still admitted.

Oh I'm on the bandwagon believe me. I hope we come out & finally play to our potential tonight. Wish I could be there I gotta work.

The CAVS are ranked # 8 in record only. Haven't done anything yet to earn it. They obviously didn't put any weight into the strength of these 4 teams. IF my Cavs win tonight to to 5-0 then maybe we will have earned a # 8 ranking. Cavs "should" win. But if we come out with another game with 10,12,15 penalties for 100+ yards, we will likely get beat tonight. I'd also hold off on the "best Jimmy Maynord team at Cookeville" just yet. Defense may be as good or better than last year but so far the offense is not. Some of that is probably due to penalties. This may end up being a better team but let's wait till the season is over and see what the record is and if we make it past the 2nd round of the playoffs first. Good luck to the Cavs tonight.
