  1. Cookeville Cavaliers Eddie Watson Stadium go to www.cookevillefootball.com
  2. There's no excuse for any 5-A team to not have a kicker that can at least make consistent extra points. Some coaches are too proud to go to the soccer guys and try to recruit some help, but they should.
  3. Northeast pulls the upset. thumb
  4. [ ! I don't think it says anything about the community because it happens everywhere. Says something about our world, maybe. This was brought up on these threads last week, no wonder everyone from Hartsville tried to change the subject. Not a good way to enter the playoffs.
  5. Campbell County,Sullivan East and Wilson Central. :justwrestle:
  6. This guy is a freakin' nut. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO morph yourself!

    5A Finals

    Cookeville vs. Brentwood
  8. The CAVS have certainly turned it up a notch in the last half of the season. They are a much much better team now than when they beat Coffee early in the season. Just ask the region 5 champs who Cookeville absolutely SMOKED two weeks ago. (I just saw McGavock get some kind of trophy on Monday Night Live just a few minutes ago, what a joke). Cookeville wins by at least two touchdowns and gets the rematch with Lebanon!
  9. Sorry Shaggy, unless you've seen Cookeville play since the Lebanon game you wouldn't understand how much better they are playing now. If you're just going to pick out one game for your analysis then I'll pick the Lebanon-Antioch game for mine and say you can't put a two loss team ahead of a one loss team. I will give you the first two loss spot though. 1.Riverdale 2.Dobyns Bennett 3.Oak Ridge 4.Cookeville 5.Franklin 6.Ooltewah 7.Soddy Daisy 8.Lebanon 9.Farragut 10.Brentwood
  10. Now,on the other hand, it does depend on when the voting is. If McGavock gets on a big run in the playoffs and the voting is after it is all over then he could still win it this year.
  11. I agree coach Broome has done a good job at McGavock but they are 4 and 5. I can't see the coach of a team that finishes 5 and 5,or 4 and 6 winning coach of the year. Maybe he will next year if they pull off 9 or 10 wins or something, which may be possible
  12. Doss...10 yards,Norman...4 yards. What'd I tell ya about the defense! Antwan, you're right we do seem to be peaking. Way to go CAVS!
  13. The Tennessean has this game listed as one of their few "Big Games" in today's paper.(They have already made their prediction on it,I'll let ya'll look that up). To me it has become a big game too. Momentum is important heading into the playoffs. I think it should be one of Coach T's "Big Ones". Especially compared to some of the other ones on there. By the way,the Tennessean has had it listed as being in Cookeville all week.It IS at McGavock.
  14. Spell ch- ch- ch- check yo self. Before you wreck yo self.
  15. That is something to look forward to. By the way,(and I saw this on another thread too) if they do have some diciplinary action on some guys coming up then that IS big news. It could be a factor so you have to expect people to wonder and ask about it.
  16. Because he has no clue. Look, this is ridiculous. They haven't played a defense like Cookeville's. Cavs, roll down I-40 tomorrow and put the STOMP on these guys and keep barreling towards the playoffs.
  17. How could you EVER overlook TC? Nothing they do suprises me.
  18. Cookeville's Gus Paxton will be the tailback YOU'RE talking about after Friday night!
  19. 104.5 is the best with Willy and Darren but it is hard to hear at times on the Highland Rim(Cookeville) and especially the Cumberland Plateau(Monterey). Wish they would boost their wattage like 99.7 did years ago.
