I don't know why WCHS High School was saying their tickets would all be sold out by the end of the school day because they still had tickets just seconds away from tip off. 59-40 Mt. Juliet. MTJ #12 (forgot her name Molly?) was just lighting the arc. She had like 7 three pointers. As for WCHS, they had plenty of good shots, they just would not go down. Sara Williams dressed for WCHS, but that is it. I think she will make her return in the district tournament. If she doesn't, WCHS is doomed.

Our entire starting lineup (minus Melvin Williams) and Calhoun/Majors off the bench are gone after this season.

I think WCHS can do it. White Station and Bradley Central are going to be very tough test, but if WCHS can have one of their 40 point quarters type of games were they just kill everyone, I think they can beat anyone.

WCHS is playing like CRAP. Sara Williams OUT, Lauren Farmer OUT, and to add to that, Kelly Gassie had to be removed for basically the entire fourth quarter with a leg injury (apparently severe cramping). She return in OT though but the injury was still obvious. Jenkins must have been abducted by aliens. I have never seen her so off her game but I think she will relocate at tournament time. If WCHS ever gets Williams back, things may get interesting. I know she came back for one game when they played Hendersonville last month but hasnt been seen since. I am guessing she reaggrivated the injury?

Both They went from 4/13FT and 30% 1st half shooting to 9/13FT and 65% shooting.

1st Half Smyrna 25 WCHS 21 Final Smyrna 43 WCHS 73 WCHS outscored Smyrna 44-10 in the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half, including the first 17 points in the first 3 minutes.

They are trying to think they gods because they beat White House so they have some type of confidence against WCHS Friday night.

Maybe that stalling thing they had going against Beech really did shake their confidence in if they can win gimmickless or not? 26 points? Almost like they were just trying to stall theirselves.

You just said Lipscomb got beat by a dump. A dump that Lipscomb napped on for 32 minutes. You got to love it when someone takes a cheap shot at someone and in reality trashes his own school (Though by the way you keep misspelling words and going on in run on sentences maybe I can see why you are trashing it?)

Oakland how can you criticize a team thats 20-0? Twenty wins without one chokejob in arrogance is quite good no matter who you play. Isn't Oakland something like 3-5 in thier last 8 games? I'm sure Franklin has been playing better teams than "Pope John Paul II."

I missed the prediction by 1 point. WCHS 73 WHHS 61 Girls game was by 50 though.

I kind of thought about this and I realize that you could never do this against a team like WCHS or teams who play defense like they do because the opponent would be getting turnover after turnover if you were to pass on a pressure defense for 8 minutes. Technically, you could probably put as much if not more of the blame on the Beech coach if you wanted too. But like I said before, some 60 second shot clock or something should be established. Most schools its not about the winning, its the $$$ (And to think otherwise you do not understand the world). Winning brings fans, and fans bring $$$, and thats why winning is so important, yet only a sub unit to the most important factor. And exciting or not to stall to 10 pts, to many people, its not. It is a fact that can't be argued..

Actually I don't recall that what is this tape your talking about? I recall the clock manager just not starting the clock till VERY late and he got the shot off before the buzzer.

Well, got back from big game between "state powerhouse" and "supposed to be state powerhouse" and if you didn't see this game you missed a great one. Beech opened the game with a 19-4 lead in the 2nd quarter. By halftime however, WCHS made it 25-22, and made their opening shot in the second half to make it a 25-24 ball game. The rest of the game was a seesaw match, as less than 30 seconds remained, and WCHS hit a huge 2 pointer to tie the game at 47 and bring it to overtime. Then the fouling out occured. CJ Carter, starting forward, FOULED OUT. Somehow, we stayed in the game, and we ended getting a one point lead 54-53 with 30 seconds to go. Beech maintains control of ball, waits till less than 10 seconds, drives, and FOULED. #11 drains both his freethrows and its now 55-54 Beech with 6.7 seconds remaining. WCHS inbounds, Rominoiq drives court, shoots three, no good, Majors gets rebound and tries to shoot backwards BUT IS FOULED as the clock expires and all the Beech fans start storming the court. They are asked to go back to the stands and the refs put back 1 second on the clock, with both CJ Carter and big guy Nathan Thomas fouled out. The refs huddle up both benches and explain that the foul was not a shooting foul, and we had to make an inbound play without Thomas and Carter with 1 second to go to win. We inbound the ball to Perry and he shoots and airs it bad. While Beech basically stops, our forward who replaces the fouled out Thomas gets the air ball and puts it on the glass for 2 and the 56-55 win! WCHS fans storms court and starts the celebration and OVERRATED chants, etc. While the refs made a controversial call against Wilson Central on the foul, the Beech clock manager certaily screwed up BIG time and ruined the homecoming night for the Buccaneers. I must say however, that Beech team is one incredibly well coached basketball team, kind of like Bradley Central. They are spectacular shooters, they set picks, they are very smart, and they play spectacular defense, ESPECIALLY WITH 3 MINUTES LEFT IN GAME. Their D looks like a videogame flaw D were no matter what you do on offense your going to be going through heck to get through the D. It was like 10 guys against 5 watching it. Also, when that team gets down, they get RIGHT back up with a big shot or big play from the defense. I am VERY impressed with Beech. They are all about the fundamentals.
