  1. Tony Harris went to East....Right? My bad...
  2. If I'm not mistaken, I think Hardaway went to Memphis East and Marion went to Clarksville.
  3. Yeah, its amazing that Trenton Hassel and Shawn Marion played on the same high school team and didn't win the state championship. I think Delk was the best high school player that I've ever seen. Marion turned out to be the best player though. Him or Hardaway.
  4. I would agree...Oglesby is as good as any that I have seen in a long time...Most guys that have seen him and Lee Humphrey both play say that Oglesby is the better of the two and we all know what an impact Lee has made at Florida. I have also seen a kid at Lenoir City named Dylan Powers that can shoot the heck out of the ball. They say he can make 70 out of a 100 three's pretty consistently. He is only a 5'4 freshmen, but he shure can flick it.
  5. Halls had their whole team at Oak Ridge's fall league and squeeked out a win against the Wildcats. Oak Ridge was missing 2-3 starters and a lot of bench players. Oak Ridge should win that league and Halls is definately not as good as Farragut or Maryville.
  6. I really think that Anderson County will definately be the team to beat this year. They are very, very, good and do not have a single SR. If Coach Wallace can do the magic that Coach E did, then they will be the hands down favorite this year.
  7. I don't think Loudon would have beaten Fulton, AE, Catholic, or Livingston. So sorry they wouldn't have made the playoffs, much less have won the region. As for this game. Alcoa is better than last year and Loudon is not as good (ZERO PASSING GAME)...Therefor the game will be a rout.
  8. You have got to be kidding. Harig is not a good coach. His record prior to last year proves that. The only reason he won last year is because Loudon was playing as one of the largest schools in a weak AA region. Yes it is week other than Alcoa. Let's all remember that two years ago Loudon didn't win a game. He is way too arrogant and if Loudon was still AAA they would still be O-10.
  9. Alcoa by 35+...I don't think Loudon is that good...They proved that by their effort against LC
  10. How can anyone with a straight face say that Harig from Loudon is a good coach? Before last year, his teams had a combined record of 9-21. The only reason they won last year is because they dropped to AA, making them them the largest school in their region. He should write a thank you letter to TSSAA because if they hadn't dropped he would have been fired. The rest of the list is right on target.
  11. I think that Beau is as good as Juan Smith right now. I may be wrong, but I think their games are very similar. Beau is actually bigger (strength wise) and maybe more athletic. I know Beau is better than Juan at the high school level. I too think alot of D-I programs are dropping the ball by not signing this kid.
  12. I'm pretty sure that Hamilton is the best team in the state outside of BA. Aren't they AAA. I thought so.
  13. A 7-20 Hillcrest team played in the region 8AA championship game last night against Memphis Mitchell. Mitchell had already beaten them twice by more than 50 points. Hillcrest only lost by four and made it a good game. This is just another example of how much depth Memphis basketball has.
  14. I will agree that McMinn Central plays absolutely zero defense. They are lucky thay Lipscomb and MLK play in the region semi's. I don't think Pearl Cohn or Good Pasture can win in the round house. I will say this about McMinn Central they don't run anything but Beau right, Beau left and everyone else rebound. They are street ballers and that is good enough to win in the cup cake region and district they play in. To say they can play with anyone in the state is rediculous. I have said it before and will say it again. Haywood, Liberty, Bolivar, and Mitchell all have high major DI talent...Bolivar has two and so does Mitchell. Beau is DII or low major DI at best. You will see. I hope you get to play Bolivar so you can see it up close and personal.
  15. Also I don't know where you got that I was arrogant and hateful. I only stated factual material about your record. Sorry if you took it the wrong way. And yes Jesus is my Lord.
  16. How is predicting William Blount making it to substate humble?
  17. William Blount is no where near capable of beating Powell. Powell will handle them relatively easily. If you didn't notice William Blount's largest guy is about 6'3 at best and Powell is huge. As I said you have won your last game. Your lack of talent has caught up with you. You can't be serious about making the substate round. You have gone from a 16-5 record to a 17-12 record in just 8 games. I wouldn't exactly call that a hot streak.
  18. Willieb do you even realize that you have lost six out of your last seven games with the only win being over Heritage. Wake up dude, your cinderella season is almost over. And by the way Halls upset Clinton, and Powell upset Oak Ridge. So you and Bearden do get a bit of a break. As for Rodney being coach of the year, I don't agree with that statement, because he does by far have the most talent. Baumann deserved coach of the year because outside of Lenoir City and Heritage he does have the least talent in the district. Major over achievement by the govs to finish second in the regular season. Too bad the tournament is what counts though.
  19. It appears that for all intents and purposes that my earlier predictions are coming true. William Blount has won it's last game, and Maryville is going to win the district. I don't see how Farragut will be able to stop the Rebels for a third time. I have thought all along that Maryville was the best (or should I say most talented) team in the district.
  20. Don't you guys think that players would maybe try and put on a show for mom and dad at an open practice. What if mom and dad sat in on a class? Would they behave differently? I don't have closed practices, but I don't encourage people to come and watch them either. Just a thought.
  21. If they were pushing the ball and playing pressure defense against eighth graders...Then yes they ran up the score...There's nothing wrong with it when it's you dishing it out. Reverse the roles and see if your opinion changes...As I said before, what comes around, goes around. Your kids will play someone on Senior night one day, and I guess you will be so understanding.
  22. Looks like somebody classlessly ran up the score. What comes around goes around.
  23. The add that comes up at the top of the page entitled "Choose which degree you want" prevents my computer from downloading the entire page. It does it everytime this add comes up. I don't know if this is some sort of ploy to force you to click or not. It is really getting on my nerves though. I have to keep refreshing the page until that add does not pop up.
