I will voice my opinnion since we all have on.. I think Claiborne and PF should be favored.. They have the most experience coming back.. Then its Rutledge 3rd only because they are not very good at the post and CG at 4th with small guards and not much of an inside game.. GP and UC will bring up the rear... McBee is the best guard in the district and there is not much to choose from at the post so I will have to take Odell... But I think it is PF and Claiborne's to lose.. everybody else is playing for 3rd place...

Its almost Basketball time!!! Finally... Any thoughts on District 2AA this preseason?

Hey Sports Guy, why arent you impressed with Cumberland Gap? I know you had them second in the preseason. but you always say how this team has impressed you or this team hasn't. Have you forgot that they lost 4 seniors last season and the majority of their scoring and rebounding went with them. CG stumped their toe last friday, guess we'll have to see how they bounce back from it. Still not alot of respect for my Panthers out there but i can understand people being sceptical exspecially after the performance they gave at PF. I believe they will be ok down the stretch. Looks to be an exciting tournament down in Union County in a few weeks.

Or if everybody was winning they would be on here.. Wheres KevB at? if his pioneers were winning i gurantee he would be on here with his insight.. what about claiborne fans? just goes to show that nobody wants to discuss whats happening unless their team is winning.. You guys can have a good discussion no matter what happens with your favorite team. I know i hvent been on here but why post if no one else is taking any interst?

Tough break for the Panthers. Turnovers killed CG. Not being able to stop Haynes killed CG. Gotta give it to him, he's a heck of a runner and he's hard to get down. He runs very hard. OS never stopped CG, CG always stopped themselves. On the flipside, CG never stopped OS either. But it proved for an exciting game by both teams, unfortunately for the Panthers, they came up on the short side. OS was the better team on this night. I was impressed by the resilliance of all the players. Neither team let down at any point. The razzle dazzle play that CG used to score their final touchdown was great!!! It just showed a little taste of the excitement that this team has given us all year. We are still very proud of the CG players and all they've accomplished this year. For you seniors, it was a great ride and you will truly be missed. For the younger kids, get in the weightroom, get your buddies out, and get yourselves ready to make another run next year!!! It's been great watching you all this year. You've given this guy a great fall!!!!! Shotdoc, signing off. Panther Pride!!!!!!!

Well I was wrong about the score and the winner. I told you I would admit when I was wrong and I did. But I'm glad that you guys saw that SG was a pretty good team. Best of luck against Alcoa this week.

Nope. Have nothing to do with South Greene, just think they're a good football team that you should not overlook or they will beat you. I cheer for Cumberland Gap. I just like to get in on these conversations and spread a little knowledge about teams that I've seen that maybe somebody else hasn't seen or doesn't know much about. All I'm sayin is that CAK shouldn't overlook South Greene. Now, they may beat them by 50 and I might be wrong. If so, then I'm man enough to admit it. But South Greene was tough when CG played them and they've only gotten better as the year has went on. If CAK does beat them, it's not gonna be as easy as some have said. Just watch out is all I can tell ya. If ya overlook them, you'll be watching them play next week, because they CAN play!!!!!!
