sry possum i must have just over read your post.. Practice has been going great and we scimmaged West greene two weeks ago and wonlike 42-0 and then we played against north greene last friday and defeated them 22-6. Our runningback Guinn tore a tendon in his foot but will return soon.

Now, now,now lets get something straight unaka had every reason in the world to be angry that night because there was several late hits from both teams and the refs werent doing a very good job of getting control on it and lead to a play where coalfield ran our fullback into the fence on our side and dislocated his shoulder thus sidelining him until the forth quarter where he played with that tored up shoulder. Anyways the past is the past and thats it and im not gonna say another thing about it because i really respect the program at coalfield. Good Luck to yall and hope to see ya in the playoffs.

Unaka is doing pretty good. They scrimmaged West Greene today and the final was unaka 42-0. the practices are going really well. Unaka scrimmages Noth greene on friday.

Thats bs us people from unaka less chance of hearing or watching the game because of traveling. Fans from these other schools can travel there alot easier. The unaka vs. halls game should be broadcasted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why the bashing??? I think the conference will be very interesting this year with hampton moving back down. Hampton, Cloudland, and Unaka all have good teams and are all capable on any giving night. Good Luck luck to all three teams.

bump Unaka up to number 2 or even 1.. they have improved desperatly in the past couple of weeks with the return of their middle infielders from injury. They have pulled very impressive wins over Sulivan North 4-2, Sulivan East 3-2, and top dog Happy Valley 18-13. At this point in the season I think that they are the best in the area and if not they arent far behind.

They lost all three games in Kentucky but i heard all of them were close, also they defeated happy valley on monday 18-13.

it will probably be a good game, dont know much about them other than their athletic and storm you can talk all you want but will see what happens when yall come to Stoney Creek.

I would have to say i agree with you on this one mountaindaw1909, the boys are not playing up to their potential and do need to start playing more like a team. They are letting teams that are nowhere the talent that they are come close and come tournament time comin close aint going to cut it. Last night they did some good things but not enough to put the game away early, cloudland could have easily beat unaka last night if a few more things have went their way. They need to make a statement and friday night against UH would be a dandy time to do it! Put the game away early and you wont have to worry late in the game and you also get the youngsters quality time which might help down the road. Them seniors have to be leaders and leave it all on the floor cause theres no turning back after this year. NO REGRETS!!!!

When they boys come out with a stable mindset and play like they played against McCallie they can play with anybody in the state!!The Rangers just got to come ready to play!
