If your school is a member of TSSAA (TSSMA) you cannot play if your 15th birthday is before August 1st.

It would have been nice if we could have used it during the regular season

need to go from having three officials back to having only two. (1)Three officials cost too much money, (2)the calls are no better, and (3)actually they call less now waiting on the other two to make the call,if they call anything, than they did before.

There is no such thing as a picky foul. If it is a foul then call it. It does not matter if they call 7 fouls or 107. I like a tighter called game. It keeps players from developing bad habits, ex: walking, reaching, going over the back and etc... The biggest problem is that you have coaches wanting their players to play full court man to man defense and the kids are not able to play it. When players are not talented enough to play man to man or the coaches cannot teach it , then why play it. The biggest gripe most coaches have with officials is not the judgement calls, but the obvious no calls that are not made.

If it was turned into TSSAA on their schedule, then it is an official game. If it was 1)not on their schedule, or 2)not have played any other games before the HOF, or 3)have not scrimmaged more than 2 teams prior to the HOF, then it counts as a scrimmage. note: most schools turn it in as an official game.

Rebuilding??? Sale Creek has been rebuilding since the 1970's!!! It is time to stop rebuilding and start winning against above average teams. You are going to have to stop taking things so personal. Nobody is downing Sale Creek for trying to have a quality program. What everyone is tired of seeing is 6 pages of talk about a school that cannot even win its own district. I seen Sale Creek play in the 1970's , did you? You are not even close to the style of play and the talent that those teams had.

If you want to add my name to that list then go ahead. The truth is the truth, and some times it needs to be said. There are alot of coaches that believe itis okay to curse kids and throw objects at them and etc... Bad coaches need to be identified, and parents voices sometimes need to be heard. I have not mentioned names, but in most cases people are only upset when accusations hit to close to home! My opinion is no more right or wrong than yours, but i do have the right to make an opinion.

I believe they have as good as a chance as anybody, but like I said in the boys post, what about next year when the players will be split between 2 schools, which school do you think most players will be attending?

That is one of the reasons why Bledsoe Co. got rid of that coach. Their loss became your loss!!! Alot of coaches will not discipline star atheletes because of the pressure to win. They do not realize that in the long run it will help their program. Congrats to Coach Hammontree at Rhea County for sticking to his guns and getting rid of the dead weight over there. He will reap huge rewards in the coming years.

Your middle school was part of a valley conference, and for 2 years in a row they cancelled the night before the season ending tournament was to begin. That caused all kinds of scheduling problems not to mention lost revenues.They were also to play Jasper during the regular season and did not show after everyone else was there including the refs who still had to be paid.

I said middle school not high school.

now that you have that problem fixed maybe you can fix the problem of scheduling games with other teams at the middle school level and not showing up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was told that both schools would drop down to AA in basketball and AAA in football. It would make them one of the biggest AA schools in the area. But how hard will it be to compete if they have to split their talent betwen two schools?

Since Cumberland County is building a new high school next year, I was just wondering which school most players will attend, the old high school or the new one? Is the new zoning going to split up the teams in Cumbrland County?

I am not from Bledsoe or Sequatchie, i used to be. I am just a fan of both schools that has an opinion just like everyone else.

I guess that is just one of life's little mysteries.

Take your pick, they both look bad no matter if you give up 300 yards or 35 points. My point is that Sequatchie is not going to give up 20 points or 200 yards rushing like Bledsoe did against Tyner. Bledsoe has not seen a defense this year like the one they will encounter on Friday night. I hope everyone does not think that Bledsoe is not a good team, because I believe they are. Somene said on here that the Bledsoe / Tyner game would have been closer if Bledsoe had not made mistakes. If Tyner had not had so many turnovers and three TD's called back it would have been 75-20. This is going to be a great game Friday, but Bledsoe it will not be as easy score as you think.

The same defense that gave up 20 to Bledsoe gave up 28 more last week. Enough said!!!

Bledsoe has not faced a defense like sequatchie has all year. It will be almost impossible to score on. I have seen 3 of Bledsoe's games this year. They scored 1 TD on McMinn, 1 legitimate TD on Tyner, their middle school could have score on York, and whitwell has no defense. Bledsoe will not score!!!
