Great job pirates! Best defensive effort of the season. Offense has got to quit making mistakes and senseless penalties. Officiating was horrible. Much much respect for Coach Davis on coming across the field and ending the game when the clock would not move for whatever reasons. Now be gotta get ready for GCA.

We did that some to start the season but for some reason have completely gone away from it. It kept the defense a little honest and helped open the run. Gotta get back to it some or teams will continue to stack the box.

Blocking and Tackling....fundamentals of football! Of which we are not very good at. Gotta improve fast or the next couple weeks will be tough. C'mon boys, we know you've got it in you, lay it all on the line and go for broke. You have the talent, now just play basic football. Pirates need to gut it out and win a big physical in your face kinda games. These young boys need to believe they can win a game like this. It would definately help their mind state as they move forward into the playoffs. Strap em up Pirates, this is gonna be a war.
