Yes any team is beatable if they are playing a team in the same ballpark. WB is nowhere near the same ballpark as Riverdale. The only way Riverdale would lose to WB is if either the bus crashed on the way to the game or half the starters tore their ACLs before the game. Get realistic guys?!?!?!?

I think Maryville's freshmen team played Oak Ridge's yesterday. Anybody know how it turned out?

If you really think WB has a remote chance of getting past Riverdale and going to Murfreesboro, then you need to get your head examined.

Meadows will have the Govs ready. He is an offensive mastermind with one of the most experienced staffs in the state. I look for WB to go deep in the playoffs the next several years.

AHS 55 RHS 7 Reid loves to run the score up on weak teams. Since the game is away he will pull his starters at the start of the 3rd rather than near the end of the 3rd. If it were a home game my prediciton would be 70-3.

It was a great game! Both teams played very very hard! MHS let CHS back into the game with two crazy turnovers?!?!? Had MHS not been so stupid in the red zone and with carrying the ball like a loaf of bread, it would have been more like MHS 23 CHS 7. I really do think CHS has some great players but MHS showed that their defense is the real deal and that the only way MHS loses is if they give the game away. Hopefully these two teams meet again in the playoffs and it will most likely be at MHS. I am sure it will be another great game!

The fact that Helton is the centerpiece of the offense and has to play safety on defense is a big minus for Central. The coaches are asking him to do too much. Similar to Cody Watts. Cody was asked to do too much against Maryville and thus made mistakes as the game went on.

I have heard from many people that the middle school is unreal and is as good as or better than the middle school teams that went on to win 3 straight TSSAA state titles in high school. Who can give me some info on the team and its star players? I also heard that Cleveland has dropped the wing-t?

WB has a good team. MHS played liked expected! Good luck to both teams this season. Congrats MHS!

You have no clue what you are talking about. Alcoa played Maryville. Maryville beat Powell 47-19. Powell beat McCallie 27-24. So actually Alcoa has played a team of a much higher caliber than McCallie.

I think Alcoa's head coach didn't play college football.
