How in the world is District Champions Martin Westview a 5 seed and playing in Memphis?....That is absolutely ridiculous.....This stuff is terrible....

A lil more than ready if I'd say so.... The key in this game will still be OC's D......If we can see those boys like we know they can play, I expect a good outcome on Friday.....BUT if we see another game like Covington or Sikeston...it will be another high scoring game and with the advantage towards Westview.....I know OC is ready for this....It's time to beat these guys..... rebfan...You are right about the defense....This defense is horrendous....They have stopped 1 team for a half this whole year....It's beginning to get ridiculous.....We'll get 1st and 25 and I know whoever they are playing will get the first down easily....They need to fix something quick or I only see 1 more win this season....This team is ALOT better than they are showing right now....Next up Dyersburg....They won't be easy....The defense HAS to step up or these guys will be sitting at home Week 11....Let's go Rebels!!

Yes, Central should have won the game because of classification but everyone before the game(besides OC fans) was calling for the UC win.... The refs did not lose the game for UC....That is the lamest excuse ever....Defending State Champs, Home Opener, and against Obion Co.....Give me a break... OC could have won this game by ALOT more if anybody was watching....There is absolutely no reason not to score inside the 5... But once again this game is over....OC has alot to work on before Covington....Get healthy this week and get prepared..... Good luck to UC the rest of the way.... GO REBELS!!

Listening to Coach Jackson on the post game show last night basically summed up the defensive effort....These guys are behind the offense right now because they just put this system in in the summer....They ran a completely different scheme in the Spring...With that said, there is no excuse for that many rushing yards....Yes, Sikeston has one of the best all around teams I've seen in awhile but if they make atleast 2 stops they win this game...no problem...The offense is almost impossible to stop....Phipps is a good quarterback that makes good decisions and has receivers that can catch the ball.....Another thing I did notice, The Rebels will have to be able to run the ball....40 yards won't win you a game....I really expect to see ALOT better performance from the D next Friday night against Crockett and coming away with a big win.... GO REBELS!!!

What's everyone's thoughts on this one?....Obion Co just came off a loss to Sikeston (MO) 42-34 and Crockett just beat Bolivar....Crockett will run it down your throat, so OC's defense has to show up....Could possibly be another high scoring game, and I'm going with a HUGE OC victory.....42-31

Same picks for me....anxious to see how Westview does against McKenzie.....The Rebels won't put the ball on the ground as many times as Huntingdon did...Should be the best game of the week...

The flow of this game will be so much better....The Rebs will have to cut down on the penalties in order to win...which I think they do....Look for Fair and Phipps to have a big game....Need to have a big game by the receivers...I think the Rebels win this one 35-24... GO REBELS!!

Stowe had some of the best talent in the entire state at Haywood and didn't do anything with them...

Game was called right after halftime 35-6.....Fulton Co might be the worst team I have ever seen play.....LaDevin Fair is the real deal for the Rebels....Look for real good things to come from him this season....Trey Phipps is a real smart quarterback and has a solid arm.....Looking onto next weekend....Sikeston (MO) comes into town....They were preseason ranked #7 in 4A....I'm anxious to see how these kids do....Hope to see the Rebs with less penalties....Congrats on the win though...It's always good to get that first win....Now its time for a real challenge.... It's always to good to see the JV and Freshmen boys get some playing time....No need to chance an injury on that bunch...Like wardawg said it would be hard to get excited for a game when I would consider them like a middle school...But congrats on the win and good luck during the season...

I could take care of the Rebs from OC....Purple and Gold for UC.....Devil Alumni for SF.....Then we'd have all of Obion County covered...
