No slam on Mcnair, he has been great.. but to go back and think (as has been said many times) just think about how the titans would have never had to worry about empty seats if they would have pulled out all stops to get Peyton.. It may have just been a pipe dream, but man.. wouldn't it have been sweet! I hate Peyton and his colts could not have gone all the way this year... he may not get another chance if the titans can rebuild... and they will.

I think it too rests on McNair.. Gotta have a definite answer before the draft..

The team fought hard to the end and the 15 point final difference in score does not tell the whole story. Most of the night the team was within 5-10 points, but just couldn't get over the hump. McGahey had 10, Ward had 8, and Pillow had 6...

To sum it up..ESPN E.very S.tadium's P.layers (but) N.eyland They won't give Tennessee credit for anything. They probably won't even give the Vols a top five with next years team....The year Peyton got ripped, they showed more highlights of Woodson than you can see of anyone in Canton. ABC had the Rose bowl and pushed Woodson on everyone of their stations to help him win it all... Am I still a little sore, absolutely, but again, No down on Woodson, he was just the right guy at the right time for them to pick, a defensive back, how many time have they chosen one of these over the then leader of the NCAA passing record. Anyway, Peyton isn't sore, First pick in the draft, breaking records and making the big bucks and funneling it back to Tennesse.. Good guys always win... thumb

Today they played like a team getting ready to make a run next year.... I will have to give it to ole Rick Clausen, looked real good, which in turn helped sanders look good. Sanders did call some unpredicatable stuff for a change. Pulling the d all the way to one side with a draw play, then throwing it back accross the field. wow, you go randy! If I was a bettin' man I would say Randy is a Coach T plus member and has been reading this board and felt he better step it up.lol Anyway the toughest decision now is to see which one of the 4 will be qb next year.. what a great problem to have for a change..I am thinking that Heath Shuler's boy from NC is going to be tough... I am looking for another National Championship coming soon! Look for the vols to be ranked in the top 5 at the beginning of '05...

Gaylon Cude Hickman County.. He finished #15 in the State this past year as a junior.. He has a great work ethic and will play all across the state before the season begins next year...2nd Team All-Mid State this past year..

I am sure Cutcliff would have been glad to come back to UT, but ole Randy had the spot filled... Notre Dame got a steal there and Ole Miss was just plan dumb for letting him go!

Sanders isn't going anywhere.... Fulmer is too loyal and I believe overrides Sanders in several calls as it is.. Great season considering we started two true freshmen then ended the reg season with the third string qb.. Who would of thought that we would have been in the hunt for the sec title as the season began? Phil does a great job year in and year out... A nother National Championship is a coming!!!! It won't happen but, It would be nice to have Cutcliff back though...
