I have played both teams this season and they both are really good. Fayette doesn't have as good of a line as DCA. Fayette's line is faster and quicker but DCA has a bigger and stronger line. Fayette's quarterbacks are amazing. Their starting quarterback #12 I think is extremely fast, strong, and has a great arm. Their other quarterback #10 is a small shifty guy who weighs about 130 but is one of the quickest guys on the field. Fayette runs the option really well. The quarterback keeps the ball about 90% of the time. Fayettes defense is not as strong. Back to DCA, Chris Wooden is amazing. I remember trying to tackle him and it was one of the hardest things I have tried to do. DCA's defense is incredible also. Their safeties are great tacklers while their corners are great cover guys. Prediction: Fayette Academy 28 DCA 42

It doesn't matter anymore because FRA beat Huntland 13-6, it was a great game.

FRA is bowl eligible because the open week they had would of been against Lighthouse Christian, but Lighthouse could not field a team. That open week counted as a win for FRA. FRA deserves to be in a bowl game because they are in the toughest region in 1A, which has teams like CPA, DCA, and Ezell, who do very well in the playoffs.

This makes me so bad. My team was in an awesome region with DCA, CPA, and Ezell. We ended up 5-5 but yet we don't go to the playoffs and teams with a losing record get in the playoffs.

The winner will come from region 5 again. DCA is the bigger team that runs down people's throats while CPA is a finesse team, who can run or throw. There may be a shocker down the road but I think it will be CPA v. Boyd/SP.

This is a key game for CPA because of playoff implications. If CPA wins this game, they automatically go to playoffs unless they lose to Mcewen (I may be wrong because I am not sure of their record). If CPA loses, they have to win the remaining games.

I don't know how Fayette Academy is, but FRA is emerging from a bad loss to DCA. Hopefully FRA can bounce back to make this a very good game. This is a key week for FRA b/c FRA could end up with a winning record if they win this game. This should be a good game.

Region 5 has dominated the playoffs the past few years. DCA is dominaring and CPA is replicating what they did last year. DCA is unstoppable and I am not looking forward to playing them next week.

Davidson played very well Friday Night. I play offense for FRA and Davidson seemed very physical. The coaches are not to blame on the loss. There were too many mistakes. I myself know that I commited a lot of mistakes. This is just a learning experience as Mcewen comes to the hill to play us this Friday. This should be a good game and hopefully FRA can bounce back. Concerning the football program, it is by no means declining. The number of fooball players on the team can not predict how good a team is. There is 11 players on the field at a time. FRA is just in a very tough region. Good luck to all on the rest of the season.

The strength of schedule rankings don't account for what teams you have played up until now but your schedule as a whole. For instance, if you play the four worst teams and are 4-0, and you play the four best teams after, you will still be ranked very high.

Ezell is coming off a horrid loss to DCA, so who knows if Ezell will play tougher in past games knowing they are not the invincible team in past years. FRA is undefeated this year but havent' played very strong teams. This will be a good game to see where each team stands in 1A. Davidson Academy vs Ezell was a close score, so this should be a good game.

I agree that DCA should be on the top of this list because of their performances of late. The Ezell game showed how strong their offense is, and how strong their line is. DCA's running back has incredible speed, strength, and the ability to cut going full speed. It will be hard for other teams to contend with DCA.

Last night's game was too close for comfort. If FRA is going to beat Ezell next week, their offense will have to step up. FRA is 4-0 (Lighthouse doesn't have a team and that week is open on the schedule) but hasn't played to their potential on any of those games. FRA will have to play to the best of their ability to keep a close game with Ezell because Ezell is looking deep inside after they were upended by DCA.

Fra has lost a lot of people. They are the dirty 30-1. Fra has lost a lot of talent from their Seniors last year but is making it up through hard hitting. I expect FRA to do better than last year.
