THIS WEEK I CHALLENGE THE OFFENSE TO DO THE SAME.... I SAW THE LOOKS ON YOUR FACES AFTER THE GAME LAST WEEK, DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN AGAIN, IT IS IN YOUR HANDS... GO OUT AND PLAY FOUR QUARTERS OF HARD-NOSED FOOTBALL TAKE THE FIGHT TO THE CAVS AND KEEP FIGHTING UNTIL THEY GIVE UP PLAY SMART, PLAY HARD AND DO WHAT YOU KNOW HOW TO DO

I would say that B.J. will jump Nick Stephens for the starting job once Crompton is done, from what I have heard from my buddies in Knoxville they are all a lot more excited about B.J. than Nick.

Coffee County has a one game lead in the series and the last six meetings are 3-3... this is a great series between these two teams and I expect another great game Friday night.

I have said all along that Bill Price would have this school playing great football right off the bat.... whatever region they wind-up in the other teams better watch out because this team is loaded with talent and has perhaps the best coaching staff at a high school in the area

look Iam not picking the game yet and I am sure Cookeville is good but Mr. Heisman... last year you said the same thing, you said Cookeville was too good for Manchestert to beat last year... Cookeville is always a solid team but it is never as good as you think it is... you think they should be in the bcb every year.

I agree with most of you post but, siegel did not kill us in the spring, starters versus starters they had one more touchdown than us, if Oakland plays to it's potential they will win the region but they will have to play to their ability... they did not do that tonight.

How does this one play out?

Coffee did pretty well against the pass Oakland threw it well a couple times but every time they completed one they were tackled on the spot. Oakland has the makings of a great team, just have to work the kinks out.

Not to argue but Oakland's Oline didn't play great tonight, the dline did but not the oline. Coffee County was in Oaklands backfield all night as evident by the two ground penalties and the two sacks

Coffee County's defense played excellent I agree that Oakland shot themselves in the foot a couple times but Coffee County's defense stopped them a ton, I have the drive charts and film, Coffee County's defense swarmed to the ball. Still at Oakland, he is a senior, but I think B.J. Nelson is the more complete runningback.

I have seen both teams, Tullahoma will light-up the Rebel's secondary, I don't know if Tullahoma can stop FC's runningback but I do know that the Wildcats shoud be able to score early and often passing the football unless FC's pass defense has gotten a whole lot better in the last two weeks.

Actually Coffee didn't play all that great against Oakland or Cookeville last year. We had two or three turnovers against Cookeville and still won. Coffee County didn't play well at -all against Oakland last year either, our defense was horrid in that game.... but that is a moot point, that is last season. I think no question this is a rebuilding year for Coffee County, graduated 22 seniors and have a new head coach, but I think they can play with anybody because of the coaching and work ethic, now that is not to say they can beat everybody, or that every game will be close, but if they come out and play four quarters of hard, smart football they can stay in a game with anyone. RAIDERS THIS IS YOUR BIGGEST TEST RIGHT BEFORE THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT GAMES OF THE SEASON... NEXT WEEK IS COOKEVILLE AND THEN TULLAHOMA, IF YOU COME OUT AND PLAY TOUGH TONIGHT AND MAKE IT CLOSE OR WIN THE CAVS AND THE WILDCATS WILL FEAR YOU. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO STEP UP, OAKLAND JUST SLAYED THE BEAST THAT IS RIVERDALE WHICH MAKES OAKLAND THE BADDEST KID ON THE BLOCK, IF YOU COME OUT AND DON'T PLAY FOUR QUARTERS OF HARD, SMART FOOTBALL YOU WILL LOSE. DO WHAT YOU KNOW HOW TO DO, CONTAIN, TACKLE, BLOCK, AND BRING THE FIGHT TO THEM FOR FOUR QUARTERS, IT WON'T BE EASY BUT NOTHING WORTH DOING EVER IS.

Shelbyville, in a land slide, no I'm not sure.. Shelbyville has speed and some size but their offensive scheme is well average at best. the defense is good but they got tired very quick. good luck to both teams

Brentwood should be a darn good football team this year, they have been down the last couple years but Coach Crawford won't let them stay down, I look for the Bruins to win this one.
