LC is tough and has beaten Shelbyville on their home court this year. They also have stayed with Law Co until the final minutes in each game. Should be a great region tourney.

Its not about who is right or wrong. I just looked at his post differently than you did. I don't post on here much but read a lot and it seems like C11 doesn't seem to the bashing of the head coach type. Atleast he isn't posting about firing a head coach or bashing coaches like many others do at other schools. Should be a good game Friday night with quite a few points on the scoreboard.

Well since this is a message board and it is on a hs football forum its seems to me this would be the place where people would comment on things related to cascade football. I think you may have read a little bit into his comments because that was part of him explaining why his son did not get as many opprotunities.

I have to agree with you Butchie. Sounds to me like fence hugger has a personal issue with C11. I didn't take C11's p ost as a critism of the head coach more of saying his son has not had as many chances to kick this year if their are people from other teams stating his son should have been a nominee then it sounds like fence hugger has an agenda and nothing else. Maybe we should spend more time hugging the fence and not always criticizing people when the opprotunity presents itself. Happy Veterans Day to all who served and have served.

Whether you beleive it or not improvements have and are being made. The falcons will get the win this week.

Shelbyville will win this district again. They have one of the best players in the state in Emmanuel Andrews and they have a great coaching staff and supporting cast around Andrews. Columbia will give them a run for the title in the district but I think Shelbyville win it again.

Law County has to be the favorite but I would not be surprised if Lincoln County gives them a run for their money. Really good ball team down in Fayetteville this year. They have put together a tough schedule and it should help them tremendously come tourney time.

Whoever has the best district record between LC and FC goes to the playoffs. If they are even then the winner of their game goes.

Appreciate the kind words lions99. You guys have a great team this year and your QB has a cannon for an arm. Good things are coming for you guys this year. Hopefully you guys will get a good set up in the playoffs. If you continue the track your on and finish undefeated you should certainly be a one seed with a bye the first round.

The Falcons will get the win Friday night. They have had a very tough first six games on their schedule playing Blackman 7-0, Lawrence Co 5-2, Riverdale 6-1, Tullahoma 3-4,Oakland 5-2, and Columbia 7-0. The combined record for these six schools thus far is 33-9. Call me crazy which im sure the man who hides behind the keyboard by the name of falcon62 will, I see the Falcons winning out and advancing to the playoffs. The young men are improving each week and the tough first six games will prepare them for these last four games all of which they should be able to compete and be in a position to win. Go Falcons!!!

What is the point in getting on here running your mouth about a coach or coaching staff? You obviously have a vendetta against Coach Thompson because you have no solid proof to back up your theory of Coach Thompson not being a great highschool coach. They have only missed the playoffs one time and the last time that happened was in 1991 lol. The coaches put in work on game film starting saturday morning and dont quit preparing all week. Kids come and go year to year so teams abilities change as well. LC is one of two schools in the state of TN that are only 10-12th grade. Do you not think another year under Coach T would not help a little bit? Coach Thompson is well respected around the state as a coach but more importantly for his values as a christian man and family man. Before you go on running your mouth anymore look at yourself and ask am I doing any good bashing the coaching staff and is this going to help motivate the kids anymore if you are on here bashing the coaches they look up to for leadership and guidance. As for you saying that the problem is that he did not play enough younger kids last year that is an opinion you may not change but the kids are trying hard day to day to improve and with positive encouragement and are willing to improve day to day only makes you better. I know when I played ball I learned a ton more from losing a game than winning one. It's never fun to be 0-5 but the coaching staff and players have and are improving week to week whether you believe it or not. Like others have stated go talk to the head coach face to face and explain how you feel rather than get on here for kids to read and see how someone hiding behind a keyboard is runnning adults into the ground. I guess we will ...... I have an off topic question for you. Do you think that Berry has a legit chance at the Heisman? or are you wishing.... I'm asking from the perpective that on Saturdays my blood runs Orange I highly doubt he has a shot unless he has close to ten interceptions and returns a few to the house. Playing a little offense would not hurt him either. Espn gives the three Qb's Tebow, Bradford, and Mccoy too much exposure for Berry to win. I would love to see him win it but would rather Tennessee have a great season and go to a bowl.

Two good football teams there, '06-JB or '07-MP Last years JB team was pretty darn good too.... I would say since this is the worst Cascade has been beat in the past 4-5 seasons that the coaches comments and opinions would hold some weight. I guess it is everyones opinion but I will take the head coach of a teams opinion on how he evaluates one opponent over another. Thats just me though. Guess we will see if Jo Byrns has as much or more success than DA did last week.

Kiffin did what he needed to do. He got interest back into Tennessee Football from a nationwide stand point. We were 5-7 last year. Florida is the favorite to win the national title but they will not put 100 points on us and I highly doubt they even reach the half century mark. Remember EB is the best defensive back and probably player in the nation. Tennessee will be fine and Kiffin will right the ship in due time. what kiffin did was really "piss off" florida. which may have been what he needed to do to get interest back. but either way, florida will have no mercy, i dont blame them at all....EB is one man, and only so much he can do... If it takes Florida to get pissed off by what someone says I often wonder what their emotion was when they have beat Tennessee by a combined 89 points in the past two seasons. Seems to me if anyone should be motivated it would be Tennessee after the last two beat downs. I find it amusing that Florida is sooo concerned with little 5-7 Tennessee. I think Tennessee is going to shock quite a few teams this year especially with the all star coaching staff. Urban Meyer has shot his mouth off and cried many times in the past heck he was crying about how Zook treated freshman when he was Florida's coach just yesterday. Kiffin has not done something that is unheard of or has been done before. Tennessee will be just as motivated as Florida. Florida will win but it wont be a massacre like it was the past two seasons.

i VERY rarely posted in football when i played, the only time i posted is when someone asked for a score, or when we were elimated and it was playoff time. i got the majority of my posts from basketball season, and some in baseball/soccer. Our coach asked us not to really post on here, so i didnt, unless it was an EXTREMELY general question. i cant make you stop, but i would say your cornersville teammates are kind of giving the kiffin thing about florida. Kiffin said that they were gonna kill florida, im kinda scared on how thats gonna go, wouldnt suprise me if TN lost by 100(although i hope TN wins ) and i appreciate you cornersville players making a coacht name after me! its not that cascade isnt good, its just DA was really good...problem is, Jo Byrns is REALLY good. Well not trying to take anything away from Jo Byrns because they did indeed make it to the championship game last year. I know they are an extremely good team but I dont know if they are as good as Davidson Academy. Cascade has got to be better than what they showed last week. You dont put up that many points on higher classified teams in the summer and turn around and be a dud. I beleiev this game will be a one td win one way or the other. If JB has issues on their line it seems that it could effect their running game some since it usually takes solid blocking to open up running lanes. The only running back I have ever seen run well without a solid line is Barry Sanders. I have heard about #44 and saw his you tube video and he is a stud no doubt. It will be an interesting game to say the least.

It looks a lot like last week nobody picking Cascade. I wonder if it will be a repeat of last week in the result column or if Cascade will rebound from the loss and get a 1 in the win column. I will give Cascade another shot this week and say 28-22 Cascade. I think they are better than what they showed last week but maybe I am delusional only time will tell.
