Yep about like Lc getting their first win against a jv team. . . That being said I have nothing but respect for Riverside they fought hard the entire game and never gave up. You guys have played four really good football teams probably as tough a first four games as anyone in the state has seen. Keep fighting and it will come. Good luck the rest of the way.

Better be glad your boys don't play over here in the region with our "rinkdink 1a school" because you would be wanting to forget a whole lot about football. But it would get our jv another half of experience.

Pc is hands down much better than last years team. The Defense has found another level of play that although good was never able to find last season. They have been delivering bone crushing blow after bone crushing blow while stepping up and stopping the run, they are flying to the ball and preventing missed tackles by gang tackling. I wouldn't want to carry the rock against these guys. On offense things are also better. The o-line is solid and consistent, they have found the run game this year when they need to just ask Lc about their other offensive sets. The way these wr's have stepped up is incredible, this year Tucker is getting the ball around to a host of guys and if you was at the game last night you know what I mean. I don't really know much about c'wood but the people I've talked to say their young and down so I'm going to say its a running clock through the second half.

This is the most interesting game of the week in region 6. I would love to see it and may consider it over the what seems like 150 mile drive to cornersville. Mtp is athletic as always but I like Wc's hard nose style of play and team discipline. Should be a good one, good luck to both teams and hope for an injury free game.

LOL little D says this will be a long year for Lc.... They got downed by two td's by a team who "unfortunately" has only one weapon and Lc had no trouble containing him right.

Yea lc is young and might improve as the year goes. I don't think lc plays anymore region 6a teams so a winning streak may be in store lol I'm kiddin but in the future good luck.

Great game last night by both teams! Hats off to Pc's Defense they played hard and physical all night and never gave in. It seemed like Lc wasn't in playing shape last night and Pc out lasted and eventually went up on Lc. Pc's D line was incredible causing problems all night. IMO Pc is a better team than they were last year, they are deeper across the board and they look much stronger and more physical. I just want someone from Lc who kept saying Pc was a one man team to admit they were way off. Great game both teams and Good Luck the rest of the way!

^^This^^. Now this should be an interesting game, both teams are physical and there is a little history between these two as well. Wish I could see it but Pc got a pretty good match up as well. good luck to both teams!

Your right tucker is all pc has. Focus 100% on him don't worry about maths,hill,grimes,dill, Rhodes, crittendon, watkins, brown,mccord etc and you should be fine.

I'll honestly just be glad when this one is over with so we can stop talking about it. Pc has a game Friday night to worry about before they play Lc! There is going to be nothing but shocked people on here come August 27th anyway. Lc thinks their going to bury Pc and Pc thinks their going to set Lc on fire, I'm sorry but its not going to happen these are two quality teams who will be prepared and it will be a close game.

There is one person who can stop Graham from "imposing his will" he wears the "S" on his chest and he is the answer. I'm sure Lc has some good ball players but Pc has a stable of athletes, Pc knows how to use their athletes, Lc may have some but they don't know how nor have they ever known how to use them.

So how'd it go? I would like to have seen it but Pc had Huntingdon coming down and couldn't miss that.

Got to give Pc credit for demolishing a physical Union City team Thursday and hanging tuff eventually edging out a win over huntingdon. Huntingdon looked very strong as a team, I was impressed with their Offense and have no problem seeing them as a contender. I think a lot of people both in and outside of the county will be surprised when they see this viking team take the field. They may in my opinion have a better, more dynamic offense than last year and while the D needs a little work with the experience and talent returning to that side of the ball I have no doubt the D will be improved over last season.

Does anyone in UC have an up date on the young man who left the scrimmage for the ER yesterday? I heard he took a hard hit and was maybe suffering from some heat related issues. Wish that young man and the Tornadoes all the best.

If Lewis Co only has two players out this year I don't care how good they are their going to struggle as a team! All kidding aside both kids are great players and they are both game changers. I look forward to watching Graham on but I wonder if Sparkman can last until week 1. Pc has a week 0 match up with forrest to shake the rust off, Lc has an extra week to prepare for that explosive pc offense it will be interesting to see how things go.

From the way it sounds probably not....Lc has talked itself up to be some giant throughout history (that's its really not) while everyone outside the counties boarder just smiles and nods. So what Lc has an impressive regular season record (not counting games against region 6 A) but at the end of the day what does it matter? No gold balls heck no silver balls, out of all those playoff appearances what do you have 2 trips to state semis. No doubt lc will be a tough opponent and will give pc all it wants I'm sure but I wouldn't count anything as a win or loss until its over.

Sharp has also been coaching about 30 more years than Pc has even had a football program, this is Pc's what 13th or 14th year with a football program. I know he's got a great regular season record for certain reasons. . . Playoff record on the other hand... well I'm not getting into this. The game I believe is at Pc.

Lol I understand coming down to class A looking for a win... I mean Lewis Co has always padded their record that way as often as they could but yall should probably look away from region 6A for those wins as it hasn't been working out to well the last few years and I doubt it improves this year...

Pc did come as close to a state championship as Wc has ever came last year...

Its a three horse race this year between PC, WC, and C'wood. MTP and CA will both be solid football teams. Any way you look at it this season your going to have 4 or 5 region games this season that will be no walk in the park. Whoever goes to playoffs this year from this region is going to be battle tested.

WC is going to be strong running the rock this year no doubt about it but there is a major question mark on whether they can throw the ball or not. I know there will be a rice in the backfield and he will be dangerous running the ball but I don't think he will be a consistent enough threat throwing the ball to back less than eight out of the box.
