We've played some pretty darn good football teams this year and no one has come even remotely close to containing Tucker and I don't see Bruceton doing it I'm sorry. I say Tucker passes for 350yrds 4 td's rushes for 125 yrds and 3 td's. Sounds crazy but he's done that and a little better before.. . . Oh yea he will also have 10 tackles 1 int and probably a blocked kick.

First off I am glad to see Bruceton back in the playoffs after their recent struggles, that is a great win for that community and for those kids. Congratulations to the boys from bruceton on a great season and playoff win. Now on to next week, Pc is very good and they are very explosive. Bruceton will not be able to keep up with Pc's passing attack and their Defense is to fast and to aggressive for the inside running game to work and Pc has a pass defense unlike from what I heard Union City. Bottom line Pc 56 Bruceton 0

I don't even know why we are debating this. Jacob Tucker is hands down the best football player in Class 1A in the State. Just look at his Offensive numbers they are stats you would see on a video game. And he's not even done yet. He should be getting close to breaking some state records if the Viking can hang around another game or two but I would have to check the facts to be sure. Just give the kid the trophy and be done with it.

Pc is no where near the same team that EH faced last season. They have all the speed and athletic ability in the world and they will jump out early in this one and won't look back. Pc 49- Eh 6

If PC doesn't have a great season the year it won't be because of a lack of depth or talent at Wr. They are loaded from top to bottom at Wr this year. Cant wait to see them in action soon.

I didn't get to go to the scrimmage yesterday but have heard Pc looks much improved on both sides of the ball especially on D. PC has to prove that they are a top 5 team and a title contender but I think they have the talent and fire to do it.

Football season is getting closer and closer and I am really starting to get pumped up just thinking about it. The vikings have two players who get all the hype but is it possible that one of their biggest playmakers next year is going unmentioned and even unheard of by most? I think a lot of people are going to be impressed by tucker's knew big and fast target and his ability on the field. This should be a high powered quick strike offense supported by a lightening fast D. You cant coach foot speed and Pc has plenty of it.

Wc and Pc have a long way to go before they get to play each other so they had better not get to wrapped up in that one game or well the first 8 or so weeks of the season could be quiet bumpy. That being said I think both teams could easily come in to this game undefeated and playing for all the marbles within the region. Wc will be a really good football team next season but they will not be better than last year. If Pc wants to win they will have to be greatly improved up front from what they had last year when they were dominated. Outside of Wc's advantage up front it is arguable that Pc has the two best football players on the field in Mercer and Tucker. It isn't unthinkable that this could be the year of the Vikings.

No kidding. I am going to try to find Mercers stats from last season because I can't think of what game or games he was "shut down" I can't honestly remember him being shut down at all. The only game he was held in check was at Cornersville when we decided not to put the ball in his hands for some reason. Its pretty a pretty simple and consistent game plan, get Mercer the ball and he will make plays and he will turn a few yards into long TD's often.

I don't know if I would go with batman and robin either. . . robin always seemed a little fruity to me. I don't know what would make appropriate nicknames for them but they are two of the most exciting players I have seen play in quite some time.

I knew he had played before but I couldn't remember how long ago it was. I believe he is going to make a good wr, he has the frame for going across the middle and going up for the ball in the end zone. Is I think his name is Matthew Gilboy still playing football?

Yea the HC scrimmage wasn't much of a game but it was just fun to watch. Where did this big D come from?!?!? I have never seen a Pc D swarming to the ball and finishing with the bang that they were yesterday. The team I saw yesterday had something last years team was lacking they acted hungry to make contact and be the aggressor. A perfect example of this and a shout out to Cannon Rhodes who knocked a Hc defender out of his shoes when blocking for a receiver on a touchdown pass. Yes Hc looked pretty bad but Pc looked stronger, faster, and thank goodness they finally looked meaner(they about killed me last year with their lack of aggressiveness). Offensively well it was the Tucker Two Hour Marathon. It was good to see other players getting involved making some nice plays, it looks like we may have several weapons this year on offense instead of 2 or 3. Of corse Mercer inc. wasn't there if they had of been it would have probably been like 8td's to 0. Hats off to the baseball team, keep doing what your doing and come back healthy to football ready to bust some heads.

How did PC look in the scrimmage on Saturday? Did they play? Must not have played or they got beat because no one is talking. I didn't get to go but I have talked to several people who were there and a couple of the players. Pc beat Eagleville 4Td's to 0td's. Pc's Defense looked dominate and Tucker just toyed with E'vill defenders. Something like 11 or 12 Pc players were not there because of baseball including Mercer (who has been known as a bit of a difference maker. lol) That is all I have been told and all I know. I'm sure someone else on here can add to this, but this all I've got for you. Oh yea and Pc scrimages Hickman Co today 5:30.

I agree that PC's coaching staff is not the greatest in the world, and they certainly have made some rough calls over the last few years. BUT they are improving each year, I saw a dramatic improvement from the 2008 season to the 2009 season. They are all young and have a lot to learn and they are learning quickly on the fly. Some of the things you said here I'm not sure if you were serious or not, if you were you need to stop a minute and think about what your saying. Pc has improved every year under this staff and from what I heard dominated Saturday in their first scrimage without several starters including Mercer. You always expect to hear a coaching staff getting ripped when their leading a sinking ship but Pc just had their best season EVER last year and look to be even better this season.

Yes it was the Jo Byrns game that Tucker went out. I think the game was either tied 7-7 or 14-7 JB, when he went out. Then obviously the wheels fell of as they were absolutely shell shocked after the qb went down. That is one thing that the Vikings MUST work on this off season is developing a back up qb, I love the wide open way Tucker plays but it is rough on the boys body and if he goes out that pretty much limits PC to Mercer right and Mercer left running the ball. From what I've heard and this may be completely untrue but I've heard PC is working with Cannon Rhodes at backup Qb.

He is a year older and I am not sure of his numbers in weight room. He was like 2nd in the state in tackles last year. So how much stronger does he have to get ? He was top 10 in passing . Bench press isnt gonna make that get much better. He played one of the most incredible games last year ever and I repeat 1 game. Here was the 1 game stats just for him; 420 passing , 120 rushing, 20 tackles, 1 int ,1 QB sack, and a blocked extra point. He is stout enough give me 11 Jacob Tuckers and I would win every game. He is the real deal. What game was that? Pretty sure that was Richland game. I was most impressed with Tucker in the game against MtP when he absolutely went off, putting the team on his shoulders carrying them to a win.

Lol Tucker the real deal?? This kid put up playstation like numbers last year AS A SOPHOMORE!!!! If he isn't the real deal then tell me who out of this region is. I'm not going to sit here and say that he could go to any DI school he wants to right now because that is a little far out there but I don't see a future DI prospect in the region to be honest. But that being said I would take him over any other Qb in the region and he is up there with the better linebackers. I will be interested to see how much he improves during the off season, last offseason he grew by leaps and bounds. This should be a fun Pc team to watch next year.

I like what I'm hearing about what is going on with this football team right now. I saw a couple football boys the other day and they are for sure a lot bigger and stronger that was obvious but my question for them was; are you meaner? We lacked strength last year but at times we were just down right soft. Certainly going to be a fun year with these kids working so hard during the off season and a tuff region. Oh yea is it true, a Rhodes on the football field??
