What are you talking about, thats silly, it has every thing to do with the wealth of the parents, no child or heaven forbid multiple children can succeed without the deep pockets of their parents. You know the money that pays six figures for soccer coaches $1000.01, I think thats six significant figures to coach both boys and girls. Dont forget all that money that makes the private school student athletes, what is the number now, 1.6 times better athletes than those in the public schools. Come on its not about the hard work and dedication by both the student athletes and coaches. I agree with canes, lets continue to break apart this whole mess until everyone gets a trophy, heck it would really be cheaper for all the schools involved public and private to just go ahead and by every on a trophy and not even mess with training, playing district matches, tournamnets. heck lets just all be winners.

Big G, be happy they were there for the first several weeks, you got some props. Just be happy that you managed to beat all the best teams in Knoxville this year, but remember you a small AA school and just cant hang with the big dogs. Yeah I know it smells like bait.

Well, Collierville tied CAK 1-1, beat Bearden 3-2 earlier in the year CAK beat Bearden 3-1. Draw what ever conclusions you wish. But always remember its girls soccer, the key word is girls.

Big G I don't buy into your theory that your girls were tired from the night before. Your a top notch program with a top notch coach, I would think that the defensive players could handle two matches in a row. I assume you do some conditioning over there in your soccer palace, maybe you just need to do a little more.

I’ve read about all of this that I can handle the thread here is CCS Tourney for those of you who wish to continue to bash a parent of a high school soccer player please start another thread. Maybe call it envious and angry. If the Nigro’s have been asked by their coaches not to coach then I can understand your argument, however, its irrelevant what an opposing fan thinks is appropriate or even an opposing coach. I’ll wager those trashing the Nigro’s believe that one set of fans should never cross mid field and invade the space of the opposing teams fans as if there is some magical barrier to separate fans. Other than the simple fact that no one understands girls soccer in the state of Tennessee greater than MJ which is why his reports are looked forward to if for no other reason than continued conversation and friendly banter. He MJ as you will learn puts forth great effort in his evaluations and comments.

EHSoccer, why do you seem to place so much trust on rankings, there is a tournament at the end of the year for four different divisions, eight teams in each division, providing that there are at least 8 schools that participate in that division. Also, by this time each year every team has injuries, suspensions, grade problems etc. heck its girls soccer. I don't believe that any coach in upper east tennessee, knows squat about a team in Memphis. Having any poll for high school soccer is nothing but silly in the first place. its great for discussion and banter but it is not a measure of respect for a program, that comes in November.
