I agree, I think we should have a fine team next year. Really anxious to see how Cook does, has a big arm. If we do the same triple option offense next year we will need some linemen to step up and get after it, losing 4 starters from last years. Hopefully this team will get better as the season goes along and we can make a run in the playoffs.

I'd hate for him to come back to Kingsport and end up going to North. With as much potential as this kid has, coming to DB would be a great fit for us. Him and Swafford in the same backfield would be something to see.

First post i've had about this game. Still cannot believe they ruled Barger's run out of bounds in overtime. The ref who spotted the ball at the 3 was not even watching the play. Also, heard from someone that watched the film, that the closest person to being offsides on the onside kick was a yard and a half behind the ball. Boy would that have been a momentum changer? Oh well, i can complain all i want, but we had many opportunities to win in regulation. There was no way we were gonna stop devrin 10 yards out in overtime anyways

I've said one thing involving refs and that was just the call on the CS touchdown.. The outcome of that game mainly just came down to we didn't play to our potential. Hopefully our game with you all can be a breakout game where we get everything in gear and we won't need any excuses.

First off, we scored 21 and easily left 28 other points out on the field. Our d end dropped an EASY pick 6.. a bogus holding call brings back a CS touchdown.. we fumble on the 5 yardline.. and Cannon is overthrown twice in the back of the endzone. I'll give props to south for playing hard but if we actually execute the score of the game would be 49-7. We just didnt come ready to play.

If South's line blocks really well and doesnt miss any assignments then I can see Haden maybe keeping it close for a few quarters. But all in all, I think we just have too many athletes for South to handle and we handily beat them.. maybe a blowout.

All I'm worried about about is that the offense is good enough to win games for us. I think its been working pretty well so far...

From what i hear, we are bringing the whole band and a huge crowd. Looks like everyone is ready for some revenge.

Jeff County was predicted to win the IMAC conference at the beginning of the year so maybe they are just a team that starts off slow... and I've heard many coaches say Sevier County is a lot better than that score indicated vs. Jeff County. They are always well coached and disciplined too.

I'm not sure if any of your predictions for DB this year have been anything close to the actual outcome..

Any team will always try their best to get a win against the Indians. SC will play hard and this will probably be one of our tougher games. Looking forward to Friday already and hopefully we can take a good crowd to Sevier County. Roll Tribe!

My thoughts will be out to Central this friday at the game. Central has had a lot going on at the time with having a very sick student and the recent incident at school. Wish them the best of luck... Roll Tribe.

5A Clinton had probably its best team it has ever had last year. D1 running back Hazelhurst and one of the top dual threat quarterbacks in the state and we also played them down to the wire with the worst DB team in 25 years.

Best QB in the state of Tennessee? I would take Seabolt or Cook rather than Central's QB. And yes i did see the jamboree but the jamboree means nothing..its a way to make money and just something for fans to go to.

Clinton will have to stop more than just Chris Sensabaugh..if that's the running back youre talking about. We have plenty of other running backs in the backfield and Clinton will have to stop them also to stay in the game. Looking forward to coming down Friday. Roll Tribe!

Anybody been by to see the new stands? They look pretty nice to me. The ones on the away side seem like they are right on top of the field.
