It could be closer than we all think because the THS coaches have been calling plays in an effort to confuse the rest of the conference. FYI, Boone's defense is geared to stop the THS run attack. They figured out how to do that last year. It's easy for Boone cause that's the type of practice they have every single day. However, South's practices are geared to stop a totally different type of offense. That's why even though South is better than Boone they will have a more difficult time with THS than Boone had. With South being confused with the THS play calling and since THS has whiny Vance Jr High DB's this game could be messy for both teams. THS must win this one or finally admit they are a bunch of cry baby losers. So I think they might actually win. THS 17 - South 14. (the kicker may win this one)

IMHO if the Viking "machine?" doesn't make serious changes to their db's, corners, and safety they are doomed for the rest of the year. They looked plum skeart. Here, here. roll wit it!

This kid sounds really good but I really believe the best kicker in the state of Tennessee is Brandon Rutherford from Tenn High in Bristol. The Prudhomme kid from Johnson County is very good too. But the Rutherford kid is the real deal!

Just thought I would go ahead and start this cause it's already time to move past South. We all know how that's definitely going to turn out. I've waited one year to give Tn High what they have coming.

Well what would I do if I were the coach? Uh, let's see, if I were Greenville, on offense, I would quick toss to Spradlin around the end a few times, rotate that with quick give up the middle to Spradlin, rotate that with the occational Screen Pass, and then once per Quarter throw the BOMB. On defense, I would shoot the gaps to avoid THS o-linemen, and Blitz 2 out of 3 plays hopeing that Stubbsomania doesn't start throwing to Downs 4 yards down the field. I would also stunt the def tackles every play towards Crowder at Center. Uh, let's see if I were THS, on offense, I would run up the middle, run up the middle, run up the middle, then pitch it around the end, then run up the middle, run up the middle, then toss it 4 yards to Downs for the 20 yard gains OH and I would hang on to the ball, and then once per Quarter throw the BOMB. On defense, I would ask all my players to play harder than they did against SHill and then hope Greenville fumbles x 2. I would also hope for an interception x 1. I would tell my players that Spradlin will be getting the ball so send someone to tackle him every play. My prediction? I have no idea but I'll say one will definitely ruin their undefeated season tonight due to messing with the other one.

Well when they start playing Friday night you'll see what I'm talking about because when they get on the field I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY and you'll understand why I'm saying that just as soon as the kickoff. It's not that I'm not willing to agree with you but YOU'RE MAKING IT SUCH A BIG DEAL and starting to put alot of words to it. So I'm just saying wait and see what I'm talking about and just ZIP YOUR PIE HOLE! I think the best thing to do is look back and get a feel of what you're really talkin' about like it's already been said on here before. You can put 2 and 2 together then. You'll see! My oh my. I just hope DB can win enough games to advance to the playoffs because if they don't then this post will be a real target of criticism. If by some "very remote magical miracle" DB does get beat by enough teams to get kicked out of the playoffs then this will be very sad.

Well hello. I hope you enjoyed the game. It was fantastic. Most beautiful stadium in Tennessee. Needed binoculars at times though. Wish they would have put the track somewhere else. JumboTron really neat for home team. Should seriously be proud. Irritating announcer to visiting team. Two referees were obvious SH alumni or had sons playing on the field. Big guys on THS front dominated the D-Line of SH. Big plays on both sides from both teams. Very exciting game. Overall I do think the best football team won. Congrats to Stacy Carter's new baby born earlier the same day. SH is becoming a classier act better than ever before. Exciting to watch college bound athletes who performed very well. Receiver on SH Kick-Off return did reach down absentmindedly and touched the ball but the SH-born and breed Referee couldn't see it. Several missed calls or overlooked calls at least from my angle which obviously wasn't as good as the refs. Thanks for the fun night! Also, admit it, there was Fun music coming from JumboTron. I didn't want it to end. They Boys of Fall! The Friday Night Lights! The weather! The sounds! The bands! The air! AWESOME!

It ain't gonna be that close. THS will win by 3 touchdowns. They will run over SHILL. I think the score will be 35 to 14 and THS will show SHILL how real tough football is supposed to be played on their new field. The only reason I will be wrong will be the unknown like fumbles. I'm sure SC has a good game plan and all because he studies film real good and so does his other coaches. THS will be tougher than expected. THS 35, SHILL 14

hahaha This is logic? Let's see DB (6A) v. SC (5A) uh let's see DB (6A) v. THS (5A), uh let's see DB (6A) v. South (5A), uh let's see DB (6A) v. lil DB (5A), uh let's see DB (6A) v. Crockett (5A), uh let's see DB (6A) v. Volunteer (5A). KPT are you not playing teams in a lower conference? How many 4A teams did all the 5A teams in our conference play last year? Add them all up and combine them all and it's less than the number of 5A teams that KPT is playing each year. I don't get your irrational argument? hahahahaha

Care if I join in? OK thanks. Well fact of the matter is SC's QB Tyler Winchel should have gone to DB or THS or somewhere cause he is VERY GOOD. Unfortunately when you don't have time to throw, don't have open running lanes, and can't perform to your peak then you know what happens. Does this reflect on the SC players? NO. Cause I think they play a great individual game. It's sad but true. Now to DB .. DB is a once great (dropping towards good) program with a once great coach. But the class/culture of the KPT community has become a bit too political and now the coach suffers from the politics and has forced himself to become less of a coach (IMHO) in order to appease some. I think the classiness of DB kind of reflects one of "I'm a bit better than you, and my son is just a tiny bit better than others" mentality. If the KPT community will let ole Coach be Ole Coach then DB will return to it's Ole dominance. Or you could just keep showing up in your practice uniforms to our East Tennessee debut while the rest of us wear our shiny new game uniforms. But I did notice that some of the KPT Moms and Pops sure showed up decked out because of course you 'have just a little bit more substance and are just a little bit better' than the rest of us nearly unemployed East Tennesseans. -- Good luck to all players this year. Boone ends with 5-5 season they lost 5 key players they will not replace, TN High ends with 7-3 season. South ends with 7-3 season. Volunteer wins more than they have in 7 years ends with 4-6 season. SC end 2-8 beating only Crocket and non conf Va High. SH beats the smelly stuff out of everyone cause they got the coaches to do it. Unfortunately without Sumo running back Crocket goes 1-9.

Cougars will be back at the Top of the chart next year. Maybe even ending the season stronger than expected. A lot of great players are developing. Look out.
