The public and private schools do not bother me at all. My kid may be in one I'm a few years , one day never know. But I am gonna try and keep my roots in sp. Hoping for a big turn out tomorrow night. How well does ca travel?

Lol people get so tore up about this private school stuff. I know you can pay the players lol. It's all fun and games on this board. Just trying to get people fired up. In all seriousness this should be one of the better games played friday night. Both teams have their good and their bads. No team is perfect. I think this game comes down to the coaching. Both teams have athletes. We will see who can make the better adjustments in a little under 24hrs. Until game time is upon us I'm still gonna do a little more trash talking. Why would they? They have great programs and have all of that to be proud of. We have what we have and we are proud of that. Union City won back to back and they proud of that. Columbia University went to the playoffs back to back and that's about it. I guess that's good?

It's still kinda sad that south pittsburg has a history that no other school in the state has. Which is to play for a gold ball every decade since it started in 69'. How many times has candy academy played for? Wait let me guess, the school hasn't be open long enough to build a power program or should I say recruit? How many private schools are still in the playoffs 1a-6a right now?

OP don't make these private schoolers angry. If we beat them this year they will start recruiting really hard so they can win a championship in 1A before the reclass everyone and all the private schoolers are in their own division with all the other recruiting schools

Well sp weakness to me personally is their dbs. They have made several good plays this year but have also had some balls get by them. Can ca qb put the ball on the money? If you shut down their pass game will they be able to run on sp. My main question is will ca win it in the trenches? We will bring some heat and the qb should not have all the time in the world to throw. This sp team can get gritty can pass and can run it down your throat. Over 900 yds in 2 games is pretty good. These sp boys will hit you in the mouth and ask for more. Time will tell.

Maybe they won't do what Sam Pickett did when he turned around run backwards into the end zone waving at the other kids.

I think these young pirates may surprise a few people this week if they play like we know they can. When peak tweaks his defense and contains the speed that Fayetteville has I think it will be game over. Unless they have some good wide outs. I have seen the young dbs get burnt a few times this year and I have also saw them make some very good plays.

Apparently you haven't watch sp play ball. Fville said this same junk 2 or 3 yrs ago when they came to play the boys who wear the real orange and black. Guess we will see friday. If sp does get beat fville better celebrate the whole year cause it will be a long time before it happens again.

I do agree with you. We are missing a good head hunting MLB that we have had in the past but with what peak has, I say he have done a very good job.

If Fayetteville wants a win they better do it this year cause I don't see it happening for the next couple of years anyways. Fayetteville's defense better show up and show up all night long. Sp is playing very good ball right now especially when the offense gets in rhythm. Not to mention the job that peak has done with our defense. Sp by 18
