York is better then last year, and gave a good Sequatchie team fits. York gets the W. YI-26 SC-17

I think this is one of the deepest years for 3a in all of TN. Sequatchie and Bledsoe will be better then last year, with both teams being Senior loaded. Sequatchie played York in week 0 and they are much better then last year. Gonna be a huge year for 3a. No wonder Signal moved to 4a lol.

Gonna be a long night for one warrior team in Purple. They will be mercy ruled by Sequatchie,bledsoe, and South pitt. Heard Grundy had 5 TO so score could have been worse. Marion will fighting for last place in the valley with whitwell. Good luck Bledsoe...Just dont be looking next week towards Signal. BC-42 MC-6

First off congrats to York for playing hard and never giving up. They will win ball games this year and be in the playoffs. They are a good team and will only get better. Sequatchie was shakey on Def at first but settled down to really force some turnovers. Seqs offense looked very impressive tonight, having multiple back that can score from anywhere. Solid first win, and looks to be another strong season.

GC-22 MC-20 Close game...Grundy county gets 2 out of 3 on 2 point conversions, while jasper only gets one. Thats the diffrence in the ball game. Gonna be a good one.

dont know much about York either. Im sure they will be well coached. I say Sequatchie has the better overall athletic team. York should be a playoff team, return 6 or 7 on bothsides of ball after 4-6 season. Should be a good game. SC-31 YI-14

Indians looked pretty decent tonight. If they keep improving they will have a great season. Coffee county would be a decent 3a team. They had some decent size and speed. The Indians JV looked very impressive on def. I cant wait for the York game, sequatchie should be just fine.

York @ Sequatchie. Two teams who should be in playoffs, and might play each other when they get there.

The same thing any other good football program does. Trying to get better every week and playing hard hitting football. We PRIDE ourselfs in doing the right things, promoting Academics first, and making boys become young men. Thats what Sequatchie County prides it self in. Also, Jerry Fain Doesnt run a 4.39 it was hand held and we all know those can be off. I do believe he is a legit 4.4 guy.

It wasnt a full sprain. He sprained it in Spring ball and then went to the camp in June. The sprain wasnt fully healed. Sequatchie doesnt PRIDE itself in winning a fastest back competition. We let a senior who paid his dues run the fastes back, knowing Fain could run it next year. So there is nothing weird about that.

Ran twice with a partial sprain on right ankle. First time was a 4.47,second time was a 4.46. He has legit 4.4 speed. One of the fastest kids iv seen in a long time. Also, these were lasered times by UTC coaching staff.

Sequatchie threw a TD pass on the 3rd play adn also had some nice runs on Centrals D. Central beat Sequatchie 2-1 and Sequatchie tied with WV 2-2.Central is a good football team and it wouldnt suprise me if they won 6 or 7 games. Sequatchie will be just fine. Missing starting LB/G last night. Off and Def had there moments looking good and moments looking bad. Overall not bad for first scrimmage.

Jerry Fain from Sequatchie Co. has potential to be really good. Went to UTC camp and ran a laser 4.46 forty. he was a 1300 yard rusher as a Junior and that is with splitting carries with other two runners who had over 1,000 yards. Heard he was a top 5 prospect at the Camp and raised big interest from UTC.

Marion will be better next year, but 2011 will be a long year. 4-6 maybe 5-5, will be mercy ruled by South pitt, Sequatchie and Bledsoe. They will have there chances in other games. Best of luck, but 2011 wont be MC year.

Week 3 will be good test. Sequatchie Co returns alot of talent, and they wore Cannon county out 5-1 with 3 starters, and a 1,000 yard rusher not playing. pirates will be just fine.

Jones is now the Dbs coach at Sequatchie Co. going to be an intresting week 2.

Yes scrimmage is still as scheduled. Sequatchie will have another solid season, and have potential to be better then last year. Going to be a great year for the Indians.

Sequatchie will be just fine again. Coach Barger and Staff has done a good job building the program. The players know what the coaches expect and they work hard to get those results. They have some players to replace on both sides, but have some talent to replace them. Depth will be an issue at some spots.
