After the slow start against Richland I expect the Mustangs to come out laser focused. If you dont think the Cornersville ending their season the last 2 years aren't enough to get them focused and fired up then you dont know this team

Who are the players to watch for Cornersville? Ensley QB and Lawton RB have been doing the heavy lifting for the Mustang offense lately with Pearson RB having several good runs. When Huntingdon does throw its 2-3 passes a game Pearson Belew and Baker are sure handed targets. Mustang defense may be the fastest they have had in a long time.

Take the blinders off and call it like it was. Huntingdon "out athleted" Richland tonight just like they have every team they have played this year. Offense was extremely disappointing and I blame some on the players yes but the coach needs to put the players in the best position to succeed. Dont understand why the playbook doesn't make it past play 3. You can get away with it against sub par teams but not against the big boys. I'm gonna blame poor start to being off for the last month. Hope the boys have a better week of practice and work some of the "extra" things out

I expect you trolls to be hanging around alot for the next 2 weeks. Why dont you just start the freshman and save the starters for the trip to Huntingdon in 3 weeks?

The middle school team at Huntingdon ain't too shabby either. Not sure when their last loss was but it wasn't anytime this year or last if I'm not mistaken. Remember this name....Tayshawn Rivers. They may be putting his name on the Mr. Football trophy in a few years

@Jobres76What about the 2 studs from a year or 2 ago are they playing in college? Pretty sure your offense hasn't changed just like ours hasn't so I know what to expect from Cornersville. What about Huntland? What's the scouting report on them?

Bruceton is fair if they play their very best game. Huntland should roll Collinwood has no speed. Cornersville should roll McEwen hit us in the mouth the 1st quarter and we didn't like it. We woke up the 2nd quarter and played ball. I will say they are scrappy and play till the whistle and after. Hate to say the Mustangs are looking ahead but to say payback is in order for the Corndogs would be an understatement....

I remember when Mitchell rolled into Huntingdon a couple years ago and knocked the Mustangs out of the playoffs. The band was insane. They played the WHOLE game!
