Just so everyone knows BPM will be taking the snaps for Dburg the rest of the season. I will be running the wildcat out of our elephant package every play from now on. The defense will know what’s coming but won’t be able to stop it. We will run the clock on our opponents just like I beat down the buffet at China Star last week….

I enjoy the conversation. I think Haywood would give anyone on this list a good game now. They have definitely made great strides since the beginning of the year.

Let me tell you guys my thinking with Haywood. Over the last few years Haywood has struggled the most (if you can call it a struggle) with physical teams that run right at you. That’s why they had a close game with Obion this year and Crockett. They lost to South Gibson a time or two when Stidham was coach and they ran that option based offense. They have flexed their muscle on teams that have tried to spread them out and out athlete them (ex. Dyer Co. last week). So looking at the teams ahead of them, Hardin Co has proven they can beat Haywood already this year. I think Dyersburg and Henry Co could as well. Teams like the Stanks and Riverside are better at pounding the rock then Obion and Crockett and play better defense so I think they could take Haywood. But that’s just my two cents and why I have Haywood where they are.

I agree with you 100%. I think the Div 2-A champ may be on this list as well.

Tell me about Lewis Co. what can we expect to see offensively? Do they run a 40 on defense?? Don’t know anything about you guys this year.

You know I like this whole block feature. I thought about it and I realized I can say what ever I want to about @Pizzpatriot2 and I don’t have to listen to her whine. For example, I can say how Lewis Co. has a winning record all time against Page or how they have more playoff wins than Page. Or I could mention that Page has a weaker schedule this year than Lewis. Or how they dropped 2A Forrest after getting beat in 2016. Or how they are playing a first year program this year. Or how before the last 2 seasons Page was one of the worst football programs in the Nation. I could even mention how Bobby Sharp asked his mom to prom and then stood her up as a joke and that’s why Pizzagirl is jaded to this day. And I don’t have to listen to his reply. It’s great.

I think this is probably a good pick. But to be honest I haven’t seen Lewis this year and know nothing about them.

Haven’t been to a game in Lewis Co since the 90’s. Was a good place to watch a game then.
