Sorry 14 free throws missed not 15 and Elizabethton won by 15 not 11 and Elizabethton has 813 students to Science Hill 2207. Have never heard a larger school crying about a smaller school not wanting to play them. The two teams did play just last year. I went to the game and Elizabethton lost 60-37. What are you talking about? They are set to play again Feb 6.

Cyclones defeated Science Hill tonight 68-53. Looked a little sloppy, missed a lot of easy shots under the basket. The two big seniors Robinson and Pietrowski, just coming off volleyball, need some work. Perry did great at point. Hit some 3's. But they also missed about 15 or more free throws. Science Hill must be rebuilding or something they did not look good, however, they did tie it at the half but when EHS played the 1's and pressed. They score 10 or 12 real quick. Going to be a fun season, twins were the twins played amazing.

Could Elizabethton be looking at a second State Championship? They looked little sloppy tonight, missed 15 or more free throws. Still beat 6A Science Hill by 11. SH looks a little down this year. I bet they get a the opportunity to improve their cardiovascular health when Coach Dugger gets through running them this week. No sense in that.

The coach calls the plays, it's the players the have to make the play, it was a great call with 4th and 8 when he called the throw back from 28 to QB 12 and made the first down. Great call. Can't blame the calls. It was execution that lost this one, the kids played their hearts out. Just came up 15 yards short.

I'd have to agree with the Knox Coaching. I have never seen so many cheep shots, hitting after the whistle, way after the whistle in the back, chop blocks, foul language in a high school football game. They made Greeneville or Trezevant, look like Sants. Kids don't learn that on their own. That many times, they have to be coached that way. We have played other Knoxville teams, Alcoa, CAK. Much better teams. Other then that there are some good players, but if I was a college coach I'd never even look at kids that undisciplined. No way I'd ever let my kid play like that, I'd pull him off the field myself. Several should have been ejected. Fulton wins the next one by 5 TD's

Sorry I've been busy.

Johnson County has some good folks there. The kids are tough and will not quit. can't wait to see what the new coaching staff has in store for us. We are going to keep doing what we do, the line has grown a lot over the past few games they have it figured out, our backs are the best in the state. Hate it for North, the only team in the past 7 years to be Conference champs other than EHS. I'm sure they will put up a good fight but it won't be like the games of the past.

The field has 3 high school football teams, two high school soccer teams, 2 middle school football teams, a middle school soccer team, and 8 youth teams playing on Saturday, it's no wonder any grass at all is left on it. Every night someone has a game on it. The soil left on the field is not good anymore. All the seed and fertilizer you put on it does not work and with all the traffic on it the first few weeks of the fall sports, wears it out, nothing else could be done short of taking all the soil off and resodding which could cost a fortune. All those teams can play on the new field and the band can practice on it for the next 20 years and it will always look good.

Wow, it looks like this game is going to be so boring, all we can find to talk about is the middle school game...love it...
