  1. You're either being intentionally "thick" or you don't know what you are talking about. Example - 2 teams in the same district. Team 1 plays a very difficult schedule and loses 2 games but is undefeated in the district. Team 2 plays cupcakes all the way but loses to Team 1. Team 2 is seeded higher in the playoffs. Makes no sense from that perspective.
  2. I predict nobody really cares enough to make a prediction.
  3. OK then, can someone at least request that the thread title be changed? Or maybe start a new thread. That way it is easier to ignore this if I so choose. I keep looking to see if there is actual discussion about a GREAT football game.
  4. I believe you COULD care less. If you DID care less, you would not have bothered posting on this subject.
  5. No1LikesHardcastle is the greatest poster ever! Well . . . maybe he his maybe he isn't but it usually seems like he probably isn't.
  6. Yeah and against some powerhouse teams too!
  7. I thought the offensive foul on McLemore was a huge momentum changer down the stretch. His shot went in and I thought it was going to be an And 1. I didn't see him push off but that must have been the call. Anyone see it? IMO Ravenwood has the most talented starting five next year. They could have started four juniors this year. I have no idea what kind of depth they will have. Good luck to all the teams at Regions!
  8. I would agree more with this assessment of the district and I think you are spot on with your observations and I will just add a comment or two: Hillsboro - Agree that they are coached better than they are given credit for. They play really good man defense and play to their strength on offense. As good as he is, not sure why McMillan does some of the things on the court. Franklin - Not many people talk about Pace (maybe because he doesn't score much) but I love the way he plays. IMO McLemore benefits from getting too much respect from refs. Gets to the line with way too many touch / phantom calls. He is a really, really good player though. Indy - Their defense was better last year. Brentwood - Agree with everything you said. Could win it, could lose their first game. Ravenwood - Don't understand their substitution patterns. IMO Veal should be playing more. Centennial - I may think they are more talented than you but something is missing. Passion? The tournament should come down to Franklin and Hillsboro but with the number of close games this year, it should be interesting. Check out the points for avg vs. points against avg of each team - lots of close game. Hillsboro 55.3 54.0 Difference +1.3 Franklin 59.0 52.1 Difference +6.9 Independence 53.1 49.1 Difference +4 Brentwood 55.1 53.0 Difference +2.1 Ravenwood 63.7 58.4 Difference +5.3 Centennial 58.8 56.0 Difference +2.8
  9. Didn't watch it - didn't see it and you may be completly right. But we know nobody from Hillsboro ever posts here so anybody can say anything about them and they're not here to defend themselves. By the way someone describe the offensive goaltending to those of us who haven't seen it. Nobody has complained about the call so I'm guessing it was legit. Franklin has a lot of guys who can get up.
  10. Correct and how did that work out for them? I don't remember who won the Ravenwood - Indy game this year? Do you think I'm an Indy fan because I said nobody plays harder than their basketball team (nobody does that I have seen - imo)? Do Ravenwood fans consider the season a success because they beat Indy? I was really just making the point that Ravenwood hiring a coach at this time last year doesn't prove anything. To be sure he had an uphill battle as I know at least one of their starters had not played football since middle school - so maybe its a talent issue rather than coaching.
  11. Aren't they losing a TON of talent this year? BA should be up there. Speed to burn.
  12. Its not the fact that they got "dethroned." I am talking about the lack of discipline from the coaching staff. Hillsboro won the game fair and square, but did it while showing no class whatsoever. All of us appreciate the unbiased reports regarding the Hillsboro v Franklin game. I was wondering how long it would take for the class card to be played.
  13. I am pretty sure you are talking about a kid named Graham? Tall and pale? I know his whole family is tall and I am positive that he is upwards of 6'7". As for fumbling the ball it may have just been a bad night for him, and as you said, I doubt their experienced coach will let that flaw go unnoticed. Could have been worse I guess. The BGA girls were trailing 24-1 at the end of the first qtr. and behind 30 to 3 in the 2nd. It was nice of you guys to try and answer his question. But, the real purpose to nrgrizzlies' question was to pump up Lavergne at BGAs expense as evidenced by his reply that had absolutely NOTHING to do with his original question. I'm sure the kid appreciates your concern.
  14. That's funny because I assumed the post I was replying to was in a post related to the White Station - Brentwood game! I think someone wanted to get a shot in at Brentwood for some reason and I was just asking for his reasoning. Did not mean to hijack this thread! Back to the relevant game discussion!! Great athletes at White Station but one thing that could hurt them is their kicking game. It is really, really, really, bad. And Bruce Pearl and Calipari both know where White Station is - current home of Joe Jackson - a top five point guard!
  15. Please expound on BHS's irrelevance the past several years and how their neighbors have "sprinted" past them. They have won the last two region championships and have won a state championship this decade. Ravenwood has also won a state championship this decade. Independence, Centennial and Franklin? Close but no.
  16. uh crony . . . you might need to take a knee on that one. wow.
