Extreme effort by both teams.G.C. run to start,big M.C. run 2'nd &3'rd,big G.C. run to close the gap to single digits, great game to close by BOTH! Someone has to lose,unfortunatly.Also unfortunate that someone feels the need to apply the "CHOKER" label to players and/or coaches who in my opinion just gave a preformance to be proud of. The effort was there,the game plan was superb,from my point of view anyway,and the last thing that they need after falling short on a yearlong dream that barely eluded them, is some YAHOO yelling choke at them from the bleachers! Just for kicks, 'coach woodvegas, want to validate your post by giving us YOUR gameplan? P.S. MY hats off to both teams, thanks ladies,I'll remember that one for years! Sure...if I'm ahead by 19 in the 3rd quarter and the other team starts to make a run I'm going to call a timeout then slow the game down and play four corners if I have to. I would do whatever it took to keep the championship game from slipping away from me. Didn't work so well for Westview the day before did it??

She has no trainer, she has a handler........I just get a huge laugh at this. Chassidy deserves Ms Basketball because of HER work ethic and the sacrifice of her parents as you have said. It doesnt matter where you go to college, who you played AAU with, or who goes to the gym with you to watch you shoot.

Gibson County repeats.........and it won't be close!

The officiating was bad for both teams and has been awful for most of the tournament. The bottom line is that Westview just got beat by the better team today. Westview controlled the tempo for the first 20 minutes and completely lost control in the last 12. They lost their composure a little bit which didn't help things either. McMinn did a great job on Rechis in the 2nd half and McMinn's domination of the glass proved to be the difference. Great win by McMinn.

That is hitting the nail on the head........Karma, or whatever you might call it, has spoken. Westview played very well to catch up and OC gave away a chance at a state tournament. It is funny how things have a way of working themselves out..........

It was a good game I thought......the lack of energy in the gym was like the only other time I had been there. Those folks at westview could have cared less about the game it looked like. Its a shame because they had one of the better programs going....... Thought Obion played pretty good, Fussell is the real deal, no question. Difference in the game was the supporting casts. Obion's just seemed to be better than Westview's last night. Macy Wright is very underrated......looks like Obion and Gibson Co will make it to substate this year.

This sounds like fun........ Westview/Gibson (-7.5), over/under 101. Line should be larger toward Gibson, but homecourt will keep it close. Livingston (-4.5)/Upperman, over/under 110. As someone has always said, Upperman might win tomorrow, but Livingston will win when it matters.

Livingston in a squeaker.......won't be suprised if they don't bring home the gold either.

Could it be that he coaches in practice and doesn't feel the need to rant and rave during a game? Do everybody a favor and stop going to the games............just give the guy a chance. Geez.........

He comes from the one of the most successful high school programs in the state of Alabama.......i'm sure he knows his stuff. However, he is at harpeth which means some folks will not allow him to do his job so it won't matter.

Hope to make it to this one........should be a great matchup. Mt. Juliet is awfully tough at home....

I missed this one......good win by Gibson County. Good teams always beat teams with great players........these teams will meet again, im sure. Hopefully they will figure it out and give the other 2 in 13AA a run for their money.

I hate it when I'm right...... Lake Co has a good team, but so does Greenfield.......lest we forget that these Greenfield kids have been through a ton in the last few years (change of coaches, injuries, etc.) and I thought they were a little bit better than everyone thinks. State will still go through Clarkrange (Ms. Basketball candidate - Heady), Jackson County (Ms. Basketball Laken Lenoard) or Forrest but a team like Greenfield, with Coach T on the sidelines will be very tough to beat in February. Congrats Greenfield on a great win........

Think you are right........first one to 50 may win this game. When push comes to shove, take coaching over athletes.

This will be Obion's state tournament...........they win tomorrow and get whipped in February when it matters.........Obion in an upset 67-64.

Say what you want, but Dyer County will make some noise by the end of the year.......mark it down.

Westview blew their only chance to win.......Sounded like big 3 for GC didn't play very well and still won by 11. Maybe next time.......
