Uhhhhhh, Male beat Assumption 64-36 Friday.... Assumption has a young lady going to Purdue! Have y'all played ANYBODY that even has another potential college basketball player? & Manual's level of competition is soooooo much better. Elizabethton is good, I know. But they haven't played anybody worth talking about.... I would suggest playing in a tourney or two next year where they actually play some people so they can prove themselves.

If you are qualified for the position, I see no issues. Where I see that being an issue is when they hire a parent just to get the child to come to the school.

We saw Dickson play in preseason & they did not look very good honestly... But their record has moved them into the receiving consideration category.

Not to mention Graves Co added a transfer from Marshall Co KY... Wouldn't be shocked if Graves beat Gibson Co honestly. But we'll see.

Agree 100%, Paducah Tilghman, Holy Cross, & Franklin County would be very tough match ups for Elizabethton also. No chance they beat ETown, Butler, Henderson, or Manual.

I graduated from a district 9A school, and know all of those kids personally, no need to research. In the grand scheme of girls basketball the district is not that good. How many of them have D1 offers? I'll wait......

Hamilton Heights took a tough loss to Clarkrange.. HH is very young but very talented... When they get some experience they'll be much better.

Middleton played UC closer than any other TN school... Paducah Tilghman took UC to OT last year & PT would have won w/ anyone else coaching PT that game. lol Butttt, completely agree, if Middleton & Clarkrange are on opposite sides of the bracket, that is my prediction for the single-A state championship game.

Saw them @ Riverdale this weekend.. Don't see them beating Community or MTCS. After those two I have no clue who will come next, even after seeing every district team in the last two weeks..... Should be a fun year!

MC is not younger than that. They are young tho, most of the players that really contribute are Freshmen.

You forgot the most important word in my post -LOCAL- Let me clarify: there are programs that will help you sign with more than the LOCAL JUCO or LOCAL Christian school. As in- not every kid wants to go to the local JUCO or local Christian school and there are programs that can help you get other options than those.

If you play with the right program, you aren't spending "thousands of $$" to play. Parents should honestly do more research. & there are programs that will help you sign with more than just the local JUCO or Christian College.

I'll see MTCS & Moore Co this weekend @ Riverdale. So after this weekend I'll have a good feel on how the entire district looks.

Who did MTCS play?

Eagleville looked good yesterday. Jr. Kristin Barnes is ready to make her mark on the district this year, she's improved significantly. Forrest's issue will be the same issue they had last year: every player on the team thinks she is the best player. Too many players taking contested shots rather than dishing it to a teammate with a better shot. Community still looks like the favorite to me, haven't seen MTCS or Moore Co.. But my guess is, it's either Community or MTCS left standing after the Region Tourney.

My favorite to take it all in AA.

She's a very talented player. That's all that should be discussed on here. No need to bring people's personal lives on here!

Really think Eagleville surprises some people this year. Didn't lose anyone & this will be the 3rd year of having basically the same players, I think they make a small leap (not winning the region) due to the players simply maturing. When I saw them in June they seemed to play very well together. But I'm still gonna go 1. Community 2. MTCS 3. Forrest 4. Moore Co 5. Eagleville 6. Huntland 7. Fayetteville If Community stays healthy, I don't see any way they don't win the district. MTCS is a clear 2nd (could upset Community once) Then there is a drop off IMO & the next 4 could finish in any order.
