Based on what I saw of at the Hoopfest he was the best guard there by a big margin. This includes the White Station guard going to Florida and the Point Guard from Sunrise Christian going to Michigan State.

This guy needs to be one of the three at MTSU. Putting up a great season. Best games vs the best competition. One of the best players at the Penny Hardaway Hoopfest. Leron Black my be the favorite but Pugh needs to be in the mix. Maybe some of the DC guys can post some of his stats?

Pugh for Dyer County scored 47 last night breaking the Single Game record at DC. Kid can play. He only played 3 quarters. DC is to small to advance in AAA but they are fun to watch.

Agree DC looked AWFUL. Just luck they pulled it out. Hubbs have been struggling the last 10 games. His shoot has gone south. Lost confidence and been to passive. Time is now to step up. But they are in the final 4. A lot of teams would trade with them?

DC bringing the fans. I know of 4 buses plus all those that will drive.

Lets hope DC and Southwind get in opposite brackets. I would like to see that. Still think Southwind is too strong. Too much size.

Agree, DC peaked to early. Adding #32 to the mix has not helped. Pughhas played all season and mixing up the rotation at tournament time has not been good. Maybe some days of practice will help.

If Hubbs is still hurt and does not play better than better than he did vs Northside Munford will win by 10. Poor Free Throws may also be a big factor for DC. Also factor that the game is at Munford. Hard to see them not winning on their home court.

The officials were bad vs North Side. Too many fouls on both teams. Hubbs hurt his ankle and was a non factor in the second half and overtime. If he is not 100% Munford will beat DC tonight for the District Championship. The game is at Munford.

Robert Hubbs for AAA should lead the list. Great Season.

Highlights

If you were at the Championship game at Martin you saw a sample of how good Hubbs can be. He is a team player but he can step up when needed and take over. He should be AAA Mr Basketball. The stats are there the wins are there. My guess he is in the top 3 in the state in all classes in scoring average. Could be 1st?

Robert went for 35 last night. Could have be 40 if he was not taken out with 5 minutes to go due score. 5 dunks. He is averaging 25+ points and 8 to 10 rebounds per game. He should be the favorite for AAA Mr. Basketball.

DC beat Bolivar by about 8. Bolivar played well. DC needs to pick up their defense. Gotta say you need to make the trip to see Robert Hubbs. Playing at a very high level. Barring injury he has to be Mr Basketball in AAA.

If it works out that they can throw Massey and Harris for the tournament games they will be tough to beat. Massey has been up to 94 mph and Harris has all the pitches.

Robert Hubbs should have been in the three finalist for AAA Mr. Basketball. Hope they advance so more people will appreciate his talent. Agree they need to play a sub state game at home, but they have a tough road just to get to a substate game. They did not play well in the District Tournament.
