AM Session Tots and Midget: 7:00 – 8:00 AM Wrestle at 9:00AM Bantam and Juniors/Novice: 11:00 – 12:00 Wrestle at 1:00PM MS/Schoolboy: 3:00 – 4:00 Wrestle at 5:00PM Tournament Information for Kids of the following ages: Tot 2006/2007 - Bantam 2004/2005 - Midget 2002/2003 - Junior/Novice 2000/2001 - Middle School 1997/1998/1999 *no 9th graders Tournament format: Round Robin/Folder Style. Are goal will be to separate beginners and experienced in to different round robin brackets. Please rank accordingly: 1-State placer, region champ, 2- region placer, 3- near .500 win percentage. 4- first and second year wrestler with some wins, 5-first and second year wrestler with few or no wins. NO WEIGHT CLASSES. We will group wrestlers at the conclusion of weigh-ins. S., Inc. All participants must have a current AAU membership. AAU membership may not be included as part of the entry fee to the event. AAU membership must be obtained before the competition begins except where the event operator has a laptop available with an internet connection. We will be discussing last year, next year, changes, proposals, national teams, travel, elections, fund raising. If you want to see changes you have to attend to contribute, we hope to see you there. I am sure somewhere in this state we have other people wanting this too! We need to put together a committee this year to really begin promoting this event and getting a lot more on board. YOU MUST QUALIFY for this and we have got to start thinking big picture, working together for common goals, which i have seen little of in a short time here in TN. I made this trip some years ago, for Greco out of VA. It is tough and expensive, but one the best eye opening events and it can propel you into something bigger than just high school wrestling, which was stated above about National spot light of the college world(future). I would have to agree with Ghouse, The coaches being unable to work with the kids in the off-season really hurts big time. I am fortunate that i have some kids who have really bought into my program and are working hard this spring to better themselves. Here in knoxville, we have been really trying to drum it up, 50 kids have been working out the past couple of weeks with TEAM WOLFPACK. Hope to continue growing!!!! Anyway, keep pluggin away. Keep getting the word out.
