just to let you know jackets fan with 3 minutes left in the game westview had the ball with the score 21 to 14 and milan scored twice on pick 6's. You do the math! wasn't 35 to 14 with our third team in to give up a cheap one to make the game look close.

Watched this game tonight, was very hard fought game between the defense of both teams. I will have to say I give the edge to wayne county though. They got the stops when they had to. With huntingdon scoring only when they had a short field. By the way, why doesn't wayne county throw more, quarterback looks good throwing and recievers do a good job getting to the ball.

Looks as if 13aa still the best in the west. Even a westview team that was 6-4 in the regular season gave milan a better game than an 11-1 fairview.

Hey swingjuice, good to put a face with the name. Anybody playing milan at home will be a challenge. Walking into the dogpound and hearing the Milan faithful and all the tradition that johnie hale stadium has been home to is always tough on any team. I wish that Westview had a stadium to have a tradition in. The only tradition we have is getting on a bus and going to skyhawk stadium and getting dressed in what I think is a visitors dressing room that says nothing about westview football. Thanks UTM........ Thanks to our weakley county school board to, for voting down a field for the kids a few years ago, and paying for land that Martin donated to UT. Now that I got that off my chest, may all the kids be safe friday night and let it be a slugfest. May the best team win.

Threw twice completed one for a two point conversion. Second pass to tightend, interference call. Don't have to throw when you get 4 and 5 yards a carry by your running backs. We did have two fumbles, on a mishandled snap and a handoff.

I don't know about crockett and humboldt, but westview started out a few years ago with huntingdon so they could be the first game around here just for the gate money. (you know how weakley county taxpayers have to pay 10,000 a game to let westview play on UTM's fied.) I am guessing this is the same reason as a few years ago.

I will agree with two sixteen teams. as far as travel goes the west still travels yp to two hours on some weekends to play a game so make the regions smaller and travel more during playoffs and play people you know nothing about, instead of playing the same teams you have already played during regular season.

Gerry in quad 4 you have westview as number 5 seed. IF friday night they win they win region 13aa with 3 non region loses to camden, mckenzie, and tresvant. Each one of those teams wins the respective regions, If these teams win their last game they will be a combined 28-2 record those loses coming to the hands of camden and lafette ms. who also beat millington. So why would they go in as a number 5 and have to go on the road and play at memphis, while milan gets to stay at home who finished behind westview in the region. no matter what the record, if this is the case then the playoff systm is seriously flawed.This is all depending on who wins friday night.

trezvant may have overall the best talent we have faced all year. i know they were the fastest. They are the #6 team in the state for a reason and its not a fluke. they phisically whipped us, thats hard to say about a westview team,cause usually they are one of the most phisical teams in this region. Westview made some mistakes last night, but the team we played could take advantage. Good team from trezvant.

Westview has still not put together a full game on offense and I don't think they will this week. Very fortunate to win against Milan, and I think Camden may be the best team in the west.Coach Ward will have his team ready to play fiday, and he knows Coach Coady's every move, got to go with yellow and black in this one.Westview just don't have the heart or the passion to win the big game.

Milan will always be the best team in west tennessee until somebody knocks them off. Not going to happen this year by westview, The only team that might will be Camden, and that will be in the playoffs. Milan may have lost their starting offense last year, but the kids know this is a big game and they will step up to the challenge.

First time replying on coach t, so don't be to hard on me. I went to both h-town and westview game and camden mckenzie game, what impressed me the most was special teams for westview and the quickness off the ball of the mckenzie offense. I think that if mckenzie controls the ball the way they did in third quarter against camden its going to be a long night for the chargers. Now on the other hand if westview's offense can put some points on the board early it may be a long night for the rebels. should be a good game. good luck to both.
