After reading this article I understand why the players are down at Riverdale . Who would want to play for a coach that whines and cries about the quality of players he has. Please understand I am not saying anything bad about Maryville but, I feel coach Quarles has won championships with teams less talented then some of the teams they beat for the Gold Ball. Great coaches get the best out of the players they have and don't sell them out!. It also looks like SwamiSays has a man crush on coach Aydelott.!!!!

I will say after getting beat 41 to 3 by Station Camp the score will be 49 to 7 Blackman if they call off the dogs after the first half, if not, it will be ugly!!!!

Thanks for the info you are right it is amazing at what Maryville has done since George Quarles has taken over. You are very lucky to have such a GREAT Coach. I know and you know you have some players that could put up some astronomical numbers, but you have pobably the greatest high school football program in TN, because he plays kids that will help the team later on, maybe years or maybe weeks down the road but he has them ready to play, plus keeps his star players fresher for the playoff run. Great Football mind! Where did Quarles coah before Maryville and what was his record anybody know? I Ruffle some feathers once in awhile but a fan should always support and believe in their team. Congrats on the win! 3 games into the season and it looks like you guys are the team to beat for the Gold Ball again! I am curious, seems all teams have a down year or two, Smyrna 1-9 last year, Riverdale 0-3 start this year. When was the last time Maryville had a losing season if any? I know it starts with great coaching. You guys have the program most high schools only dream of. Conrats on a very classy program.

You are right you won without Robinette playing the second half, he did not even last one half againist a 7AAA team without their hardest hitting and leading tackler, but you won, because of a bad snap on the Smyrna team. Really dominated them didn't you!!!! LOL just think how many QBs you guys would go thru if you had to face a 7AAA team every week like Siegel!!!!LOL!!!! Smyrna's running back was hurt limping almost after every play, he still played, I think he was voted MVP!!!! He was not scared, but then he was not a soft D1 QB LOL!!!!

Congrats to Greenville You guys have really inpressed me the last two years. I watched your game from the stands last year before our Smyrna Maryville game and I thought that the team you played was no good. Was I WRONG, IT WAS THAT YOU ARE JUST THAT GREAT!!! You Maryville fans seem to be very classy!!!Just shows how classy your football program is!!!!! I also hate to hear about the injury to Dillon Woodruff it is a shame to play all year long and looking forward to this great matchup then have it taken away one game short because of an injury. Mr Woddruff and rebelwoman87's dad will be in our prayers. Hoping they both have a quick recovery and wishing them the very best. Unfortunately there is a game to play so let's get fired up and show everybody why Riverdale is here. GO WARRIORS!!!! I also watched this game online and let me tell you, Boston Ray is a beast. He should win the 1A LINEMANS Mr Football and Jacob Tucker should win the 1A BACKS Mr Football HANDS DOWN nobody comes close. NOW THAT SHOWS the FOOTBALL TALENT in Region 6 for sure!!!! CONGRATS to WAYNE COUNTY

Yes and that would be a shame. Woodruff has more like Robinette numbers, 1,533 passing yards on 106 of 164 passing with 825 rushing yards and 29 total touchdowns. I am sure Riverdale still feels they can win this game. It would just be a lot more of a challenge for Maryville if Woodruff is able to play. Maryville is a great team that has great coaching. As I said last year after they beat my Dawgs they are the BIG DOGS NOW!!!! It is up to another team to knock them off that spot. Just hope for a GREAT INJURY FREE GAME!!!!

Well if you are going to use standings, get it right Smyrna was 3rd. District records what counts in your district. And FYI #1 Riverdale beat #2 Blackman 38 to 14 tonight and Smyrna beat Oakland 52 to 22 in regular season if you want to compare scores. Not as GOOD as being at the TOP!!!!
