  1. Did they get arrested or something?
  2. #'s 8 and 10 on that grouping... Hmmm, don't know about all that. The region down in Alabama with Hoover is pretty dang tough. Once again though, like comparing oranges and apples, or better yet, like comparing the SEC to the WAC. Put a Mississippi State or a Kentucky in the WAC and see how well they do.
  3. Yeah, you are right... The more posts you have the more intelligent you are and the more you know... I forgot the importance of that. And to the old wise one, I am for sure not telling "my team" because that would just, well, give away too much and it does not need to be given away.
  4. Hahaha trust me, he can stay in hickville, tn. "My" team would not hire him. Ever.
  5. I guess I am done with knocking Giles and Bro OC... Talking to you all about this is like me carrying a gun into a knife fight. Just not fair and you all really don't know what you are talking about. So, with that being said, you won't have to worry about me posting on GC anymore. Just stay in your little hole called Pulaski and think you are THAT good.
  6. What?!? You mean Bro. OC didnt have his boys ready?!? Bet they will be practicing til 10 pm on both Saturday and Sunday! Brother OC I just knew would have his OL/DL ready. After all the mark of a good coach is yelling "hit somebody" and not really teaching any x's and o's
  7. So it has alot to do with the geographical make up of the state and the distance that schools would have to drive to have constant competition. This would make sense because competition breeds success (don't tell that to our liberal buddies though!).
  8. Thats great and all... I don't care if he played at Central, LC, Giles, Hoover, Byrnes, East Hick for the Blind and Deaf. Point was, what was YOUR point!!! Just because you played somewhere does not mean you will be a successful coach. Main point of the original post was to say LC will get better and that Blackman was not that good.
  9. What on God's beautiful green earth are you talking about? Guy playing a down at LC???
  10. I watched the Blaze play Bob Jones (Madison, Alabama). Trust me, Blackman is NOT that good.
  11. Blackman not that good. LC will get it turned around. Don't worry. I agree, Palmer might be a good DC but his HC record is doo doo (especially at Hazel Green)
  12. Thank you. I was not trying to start anything guys I was genuine when asking about the difference between TN and the states to the south of us (AL, GA most specifically). I know the talent is in this state but it seems like it is too concentrated.
  13. Pepvol... That really does make alot of sense! Thank you for having a true educated opinion on it. Basically if TN would combine Private/Public and even up the playing field it would raise the level of play across the state (this is what im gathering from your post - correct me if I am wrong). Keep in mind I have experienced both AL and TN HS football, in depth, and it seems that the really good, quality players go to the private schools in TN whereas in AL the very successful players still believe in playing for their public school (even though Hoover has become somewhat of a private school in the sense of athletics and successful athletes from across the state go there).
