Like I said. What was Ballard supposed to do, tell his 3rd stringers quit playing, just stand and let the other team score. What kind of message would that be sending them. Give me a break.

I hardly ever post on here because I just like reading the comments and I think everybody is entitled to their own opinion. But it is comments that make me so mad. How can you call a team, playing 3rd stringers the whole second half, classless. What is the coach supposed to tell the players? Just quit playing, let the other team walk in to the endzone. No, you tell them to play the best they can. I know everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I get worked up when I see someone calling a bunch of teenagers "classless assess". In my opinion, you sir, is the classless ####.

What did West Greene expect Greeneville to do the 2nd half..just stand around. I've never seen anything like this happen before. What little respect I had for West Greene is gone now.

Couldn't believe it when the announcers said that Greeneville broke their single game scoring record, that was set back in 1904. Way to go Big Greene.

All but 1 of the West Greene players and all of the West Greene coaches left the field after the game refusing to shake Greeneville's players hands.

I agree. During the Greeneville-Maplewood game, the band from Maplewood played constantly. I paid to watch the game and not listen to the band play all game.

That is because they don't have two seperate school systems in Hamblen County like Greene County does. And the schools aren't broken down into "city" or "county" schools.

Just so that you know, Morristown West is located within the city limits of Morristown so that means it's not a county school.

My point is that if a thread about Greene County football is going to be started then the Greeneville fans should be allowed to post on here without the county fans getting upset. Yes I am a Greeneville fan and alumni, but I support all of the high schools in Greene County.

This Greene Devil fan wants to congratulate the coaching staff, players and all of the CAK fans on winning the 3A State Championship.

You all said that this was a thread about Greene County Football in 2012 right? Isn't Greeneville located in Greene County? I mean the Greene County Sheriffs Dept and the Greene County Courthouse are located in Greeneville. And doesn't the Greeneville Sun publish the All County team at the end of fooball season. I believe there were several Greeneville High players on it. So this being the case, where do you all get that Greeneville High shouldn't be included in on this thread. If you all wanted this to be a thread about the schools that are located outside the city limits of Greeneville, then you should have specified that when naming the thread.
