okay we all know now that coalfield runs the spread.... but somebody enlighten me on what type of offense sp runs.... seems that alot of teams with great speed in highschool tend to like the wing-t or the option, is that the case here?

yeah i think so and oz has a pretty decent team this year as well but i think wartburg overlooked them when they lost and it might be vice versa here. i think wartburg has a great qb and he is actually intelligent (most of the time).something the county as a whole has been missing for awhile

you are now the smartest man on this forum... i agree that unaka is the dirtiest team i have ever seen and hampton always played hard and with respect. one year they had a player on our home field telling our coach to suck it and everything else after the game... all most cleared the stands

yes this is very true. that was a killer not to mention i believe a punt was returned for a score later on and it even bounced first!! but once again better team won but at least it wasnt too ugly

who was it you played in the semis??

hate when you go to a game and that one person is saying every single call a ref makes is a bad call..some of them are but alot of them are obvious and i can admit it when my team does something stupid

yeah i still remember them vividly 06 i played the whole game with a concussion from the first quarte i thought you guys would take state that year for sure

thanks pujo and yes hampton has always had great athletes and tough for sure.. example adam townsend and he played with a club on his arm. and i also remember the big 77 you guys had in 2007 i got moved to line cause they thought i could handle him haha i couldnt hardly walk the next day. bout that way everygame though and i enjoyed playing you guys....good clean football

i second that motion.....that should be the first place either south pitt or coalfield has a hard time. im not sure how coalfield will match up but that would be exciting to watch

yeah they most likely will maybe even a player or two before friday.. when i played the whole team was banned from using coacht for that reason...and if coach kries found out we were it was some long nights at practice

with all due respect to south pitt i wouldnt go as far as saying that i dont believe either of these teams will go further than the next game but great teams fall everyweekend. they might overlook everyone like you are and lose in the semis....

Anytime...while if they were playing the hometown jackets (lucky for our boys they dont have to deal with that sort of abuse) i would have to side differently. but from personal experience its alot easier to come back late against a team that is making you look out your earhole every time they hit you than someone who is speedy but cant take a hit....not to mention hampton was always very athletic to add to it.... if they get the first points easy win

i agree with pujo here.. i played for coalfield and faced boyd buchannan my freshman year or on special teams they were amazingly fast with an awesome tailback in matt peardon but my other three seasons actually playing ended in the playoffs to hampton everytime....they might not be the fastest team but it is the hardest i have been hit in my life. boyd was fancy and quick and i believe they have went downhill. hampton no matter the talent level plays smashmouth football and has what seems like ten plays they run to perfection. hampton wins
