I think swafford and foreman will be held in check at first but they will settle in, but i think were going to see #35 Zach Casey have the game of his life tomorrow night. He would be a feature back in any other system but Malik and Devon overshadow him. No one is talking about him and i think he will be the difference in this game. ROLL TRIBE!

You guys played Science Hill last year and it was a close game the entire game with a 12pt win. We couldve beat science hill 70-14 if we wanted to last year

You wouldnt be saying that if Greeneville put a beatdown on DB. Your honestly going to say last year when DB beat you 21-0 in the scrimmage and was physically running the ball down your throat you guys would have won? nahh

How close is this game from being sold out? is it possible? just never heard about one being sold out. You think theres going to be more people there like DB vs SH? were going to have to leave around 2-3 just to get a seat, MAYBE

Its not so much our WHOLE secondary is just "average" our two corners are outstanding with Swafford who surprises people how physical he is and doesnt let you off the line, and Foreman is without saying a shutdown corner. What hurts us is our Safety play. Now in the beginning of the year i wasnt a josh holt believer but i will be the first to say i was wrong and he has turned out to be a heck of a player, plus hes only a sophmore. But still, when we get in a situation where we have to have help over the top or our safetys have to come crashing down on a slant thats what really hurts us. I also blame our aggressive play calling defensively. Our LBs blitz so much our safetys or OLBs have no help in the middle. You will see the middle is where Maryville will get their most yards in the passing game. ROLL TRIBE!!

Even though i know Maryville is not in Knoxville. You guys think there will be a bunch of neutral fans from the knoxville area coming for this game as well? Theres another big game in Knoxville area as well with CAK vs Alcoa

first of all before i say this i love my DB band. they are obviously one of the best bands in the country and they have 400+ people and are very loud, Having said that, they might be the biggest waste of a band that good. They dont play while we are on defense ever, but when we on offense they always look to crank it up and play the same dang songs over and over again. another point, our band uses their halftime show for there competition practice. Nobody wants to hear these old, slow, depressing songs at a FOOTBALL GAME! Play some upbeat songs that people know. 2 times this year we had to watch and listen to them play a whole thing on a story of a red balloon. a red balloon really? a halftime shows are pathetic and its a disgrace. i know its against the rules but every band plays during the plays anyway. I was a Senior last year and when your close to the band and on offense you cant hear a thing, you would think they would do that to the other team. Even when you talk to some of the band parents or their parents (just some not all) they feel like they Grace of with their presence at the games. again, i really do appreciate how good our band is i just think in the football aspect of our band they really need to work on it.

Maryville deserves all the respect in the world. They are first class and probably are the best coached team in the state. That being said I honestly think this DB team can compete and possibly win against Maryville,but doing so, will take a lucky, mistake free, disciplined, and hard fought game by our team. We are capable of doing so, but doing so wont be easy. Roll Tribe!

On a serious note, how are we all going to fit down at Maryville. if i remember correctly their away section is small, is there going to be a lot of standing?

Was at the game tonight. SHhas some very good athletes. Reed Hayes looked Impressive. I have liked to seen the score if Horton didnt get hurt for the drives hewas in he looked pretty spectacular, but SH looked good. Also, they have some great hotdogs over there at the hill (:

Cook practiced all week and looks good. His arm is not broken. The only injury the Tribe has right now is Will Glasscock at OLB. John McCord filled in pretty dang good during Farragut so we should be fine.

Who has to replace Chris Sensabaugh next year as fullback? has some big shoes to fill

hayworth is out for this game with a high ankle sprain but will probably ready to go in round 3. but lets get there first.

Take if it from me and most DB fans,we have nothing but respect for the Maryville football program...how could you not with all the victories and state championships..I hope Maryville and DB take care of their business this week...Having Maryville coming to Kingsport to play will cause as much excitement as there has been here ever....J Fred Johnson Stadium would be rocking...hope both teams win and stay healthy and get ready for the coach t board to explode ROLL TRIBE!

I have been looking in on coach t forums for a couple of years now,and i find it funny that i pick now to post my first response....I know the Young kid from bearden is the best player we have seen all year and i am scared to death of him running all over the J Fred turf,but the last time i looked one player will not beat DB...not with all the skill players we have this year.....additionaly,ask Clinton,Farragut,Daniel Boone,Tenn High,and Science Hill what happened to their bigger lineman after the first quarter...saw alot of bending over and walking after chasing DB players all over the field....Hoping for good game and nobody gets hurt..got a feeling who has the ball last will win this game
