  1. Hopefully the game Saturday, will be alot better but with the same outcome.
  2. Pep, those are the same guys. Still have that game on my TiVo
  3. Yea Dyson, was very 7-AAA bias. I wish Mike Keith did the Maryville Game. TOUCHDOWNNNNNN REBELS! Mike Keith impression.
  4. Lol you got me there. I believe those teams had better gamechangers, I should have said this is one of the biggest Maryville teams. Lol, i graciously accept defeat.
  5. This will be a family feud next Friday. I have family member who starts for Maryville, but also Coach Aydelott is a distant relative. I just think Maryville, will be able to adjust to anything Riverdale throws at them. This IS the best Maryville team, I have seen. Go Rebs! Welcome to the Black Hole Riverdale!!
  6. I agree that the receivers run very solid routes and the QB can extend plays. The only issue I see with the QB is that he tends to lob the ball during throws. Not quite as bad as Science Hill's QB ,but still lobs the ball some. Also, I just don't think SC can handle the speed of the d-ends, of Watson and Spivey. I believe Watson will be on the Qb all night, due to the size of SC left tackle.
  7. Im hoping that there is a solid turnout Friday night. Do the Bears travel well, or will they be hibernating because of the cold? I was talking to a high school coach in west tn, and he said the only person who could beat Maryville is Maryville. Rebs-42 Bears-6. Rebels defense and offense just too strong, and are hitting their stride. Also, people need to shut up about ducking, the bears will get a full taste, not some jamboree. WELCOME TO THE BLACK HOLE!
  8. Either way, Maryville will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs if they win out. Because teams will have to come east if they are ranked the same. I just cant believe that the tssaa wouldn't rank the AP number one as the highest seed in their division.
  9. I think that this one gets outta hand. Maryville, will open the dam up and let the points flow. They are going to score at will, and start getting ready for the playoffs. Im sorry to say but, this is just going to be a glorified scrimmage. Maryville-56 WB-14
  10. Jay Guillermo, Maryville. Number one center in the country and Clemson commit, also playing in the Under-Armour All-American Game
  11. Well I would just figure that when rankings come out, that the highest ranked team who won state and is ranked nationally, would be on top. I mean when (No shot at BA) did Brentwood Academy or any of those teams become better than Maryville.
  12. I mean if these teams were so good, how come they haven't won the past 7 outta the past 9 state championship. Im just saying.
  13. Im looking at the MaxPrep rankings. 1 Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, TN) 60.1 5-1 +4 2 Ensworth (Nashville, TN) 60 6-1 -- 3 Riverdale (Murfreesboro, TN) 57.2 7-0 +1 4 Baylor (Chattanooga, TN) 57 6-1 -3 5 Maryville (TN) 57 6-0 -2 6 Blackman (Murfreesboro, TN) 56 6-1 -- 7 Battle Ground Academy (Franklin, TN) 52.2 6-1 -- 8 Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN) 46.9 6-0 -- 9 Morristown-Hamblen West (Morristown, TN) 46.8 6-0 +3 10 Memphis University (Memphis, TN) 46.2 4-3 +7
  14. How come Maryville is not the top ranked team in the state?
