  1. Liberty looks to be a great team. I agree Lions don't know alot about them, so hard to tell. Regardless of outcome, congrats to both teams for making it to the final 4.
  2. You don't have anything else to say after the game? Just curious.
  3. We lost a player 3 weeks ago due to issues but not tonight.
  4. Who was the two way starter kicked off the team today? I don't think so.
  5. CPA defense is way down this year. I would be happy if we get past round 3 this year.
  6. CPA 48 - Westmoreland 29 final - Westmoreland scored one in final minutes. Props to Westmoreland's offense. Wing T was very difficult for CPA to defend plus several trick plays that worked for WM. CPA's offense just couldn't be stopped, pretty much scored on the first or second play of every series on long plays. Time of possession was WM 38 - CPA 10 min. Crazy.
  7. Ron - hope to see you at the game again to clean the bathrooms, you do a great job.
  8. Real simple Ron - prove it. This is absurd.....
  9. I would love to know who at CPA is bragging, can you provide some facts? As for CPA playing the big boys, we play Ensworth, BGA and BA in Football Scrimmages, every year - scrimmages aren't scored so no way to tell who wins but usually good games. As for all other sports at CPA, we beat them all pretty much in every sport. So what is your point?
  10. If you have reliable sources and know the facts, then simply turn them in to the TSSAA and let them do their job. If not, then your really have nothing to post here. I do believe CPA's basketball players come in MS, although there are 4-5 that have been there since Kindergarten. I also believe CPA has an advantage with the fact basketball AAU is such a high exposure sport and all players, coaches, etc know Drew and it gives CPA an opportunity for exposure. I don't however believe CPA cheats, or unfairly recruites outside of what TSSAA allows. If they do, I am sure one day they will get caught. Otherwise, I think this post by CPA Chaingang lays it out perfectly. See below. Basketball is a bit of a different animal but OK, here is how you do it…. Hire a head coach that was a standout SEC guard, who lives and breathes basketball and the development of boys into great players and even more importantly, great young men. Hire a coach that has such a charisma that he is often hired to do college basketball play-by-play on TV and college basketball talk shows. Hire a coach that demands hard work from his team and is willing to travel with them to play preseason tournaments against some of the nation’s finest competition. Hire a coach that is so committed to his family that he is willing to stay a high school coach so he can watch his five children, two of which are adopted grow up. Watch as your coach’s reputation spreads throughout the country regarding his coaching talent and character and then sit back and watch as parents are so attracted to him that they choose to uproot house and home so their son who loves the game of basketball can play for a man like Coach Maddox. It is pretty much that simple. CPA has achieved the same thing for football in Ingle Martin. You can choose to hate CPA or learn from them. Make great hires of great men. 11. You too, we are not all bad people like everyone thinks. I hope the best team wins, play fair and no one gets hurt.
  12. Pretty good chance these kids are coached up, unless CPA is really good at recruiting kindergartners. 1 Houston Nichols - cpa since kindergarten LB, RB Sr. 6-0 200 2 Zack Weatherly - cpa since kindergarten QB, DB Jr. 6-2 3 Sr. 5-11 170 4 Mac Keck - cpa since kindergarten TE, LB Sr. 5-11 190 DB Jr. 5-11 170 7 J.R. Osborn - cpa since kindergarten WR, DB, K Sr. 5-11 175 9 Price Perdue cpa since kindergarten WR, DB Jr. 6-3 170 10 William Whitaker - cpa since kindergarten WR, DB Sr. 12 Jay Hockaday - cpa since freshman year QB, LB Sr. 6-3 215 17 John Orr cpa since kindergarten QB, LB Jr. 6-2 195 21 Jacob Webster cpa since 7th grade RB, LB Jr. 24 Cole Smith RB, LB Jr. cpa since kindergarten 25 Wallace Barrett - cpa since kindergarten RB, DB Jr. 6-1 185 45 Chip Omer - cpa since kindergarten RB, LB Jr. 5-11 180 56 Peyton Kemp cpa since kindergarten OL, DL Jr. 6-1 200 66 Parker Howell cpa since kindergarten OL, DL Sr. 6-5 275 6 72 Rooke Young - since 9th grade OL, DL So. 76 Sam Johnson - since 9th grade OL, DL Sr. 6-2 240 88 Joseph Richard - since 7th grade WR, DB Jr. 6-2 195 CPA starters offense and defense - 12 players since kindergarten, 2 7th grade, and 2 freshman. I hardly call that recruiting. This is the starters only, several other kids on the roster since Kindergarten. This may not be 100% exact but pretty darn close. I know all kindergarten starts are correct though.
  13. Class does not happen on the field as every team that gets beat feels like they were wronged in some way or the other team cheated, refs were bad, etc.. Class begins in the parking lot, at the gate, at concessions, in the stands, etc and I am positive you will get that.
  14. You beat me too it. I agree, majority of the kids on this team have been there 12 and 13 years. Great kids, work hard and coaching make a huge difference.

  16. Close but not exactly. Here is how it lands and the grade of those returning for another run Starters Hagan -#1 Goalie - since Kindergarten - Senior Hagan #24 Center Back - since Kindergarten - Junior Osborn #7 - Midfield - since Kindergarten - Senior Omer #14 - Attacker - since Kindergarten - Junior Myers #15 - Midfield - since Kindergarten - Junior Grassi #25 - Right back - since 5th grade - Junior Whitaker #10 - Left back - since Kindergarten - Senior Meiers #12 - Center back - since Kindergarten - graduated Trapnell #6 - Midfield - since Kindergarten - graduated Sutton #43 - Attacker - middle school = graduated Pressley #5 - midfield - since kindergarten - graduated Jake Brown #29 - center back - since sophomore - Senior would have started every game but came late to the team, so was first sub in every game Essentially we have 8 starters back from last years team
  17. CPA Walker Hagan - goalie Jake Brown - Center Back JR Osborn - mid Harrison Myers - mid Chip Omer - striker Spencer Hagan - Center Back William Trapnell - mid Will Whitaker - left back CPA returns 8 starters next year. Should be fun. Several teams will compete though next year.
  18. Pretty certain the boys from CPA have been playing soccer together from quite a while. photo.php
  19. nice try - -i dont see anywhere in my post saying cpa would win - simply said they are deep and certainly know cak is also i think it says it will be a great game thanks
  20. CPA vs CAK should be a great game. CAK has great players including Johnny Creel. CPA is 15-16 deep and has the best goalie in the state. Plays for the #1 travel soccer team in the state, played against international teams and has won 5 state championships in travel soccer. CPA also has great speed up top and a solid defense. If CPA loses i believe it will be on a set piece or PK.
  21. Chattanooga Teams, (Chatt. Christian, Boyd B. and Signal) what can you tell me about Murf. Central Magnet. All three of you played them and they seem to be under the radar and playing well.
