I know Hammrick-120 won as well as Miller at 220 (beat us last year). But looking at this year, Middle TN appears to be very strong. I know Blackman lost some guys but Coach Bray will have his guys in the hunt when all is said and done.

Just because I know the kids, I think a lot of you are sleeping on Walker Valley. WV actually has 7 state qualifiers and a State Placer, one of the seven didnt qualify last year but did the year before.This should be the best team they have had. Wilson Central could be the #3 team this year

“T-Town Rumble†PRESEASON WRESTLING TOURNAMENT EVENT DATE: Saturday, November 10th, 2012 MATS: 4 mats will be used in the Main gym WEIGH-IN: Weigh-Ins will be conducted at YOUR site Thursday, Nov 8. Scratch weights should be taken right after your practice. Whatever the wrestler’s weight is at the end of practice is the scratch weight. *Because this is an early season scrimmage, we don’t want to focus on making weight. Hence, the reason for scratch weigh-ins. This also allows for teams to arrive later, for us to start earlier, and to speed up the event. We expect weigh-ins to be conducted properly and wrestlers to try maintaining their scratch weight rather than trying to gain advantage by putting on weight. Line-ups must be Emailed ASAP, latest Friday, 11/9/12 by 9:00 am To almorriswrestling@gmail.com Please indicate skill level 1-4 (Elite-1, Good-2, Fair-3, Beginner-4) BRACKETS: Round Robins will be used for bracketing. Wrestlers will be grouped as best as possible according to skill level. Please be as close/honest as possible when rating and weighing your wrestlers. All matches will be three 1:15 minute periods. COACHES We will hold a coaches meeting Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. MEETING: Hospitality room for Coaches ONLY—Chemistry room--Coach Lester’s classroom WRESTLING 9:15 a.m.- 1st Round. Wrestling will continue throughout the day. SESSIONS: ADMISSION: Adults: $7.00 Students: $4.00 FEE: There will be a $7 entry fee per wrestler, payable upon arrival. Coaches are responsible for ALL names that are sent in. 3 coaches per team, each additional coach is $10. Tullahoma is thinking about hosting a tournament May 19 that will be both Freestyle and Folkstyle. Still getting everything finalized but its a 90% go. We will be having it in our Wrestling Gym that only holds 2 full size mats so we will be limiting the entries. So once we get the go head keep your eyes open, because it will be first come first serve.

I think the pre-seeds/brackets will be released Wednesday.

Well we have had the gym reserved since November and nowhere on the gym schedule did it mention a possibility of a basketball game. Since our HS basketball team placed top 2 in our district, they are hosting a region game. So we had to cancel the middle school division. This will not happen again while I am the coach here! So we will continue to have tournaments and they will continue to be quality tournaments.

Due to a conflict with the gym and the Basketball team, the middle school division for our TNAAU tournament is cancelled. Tullahoma sincerely apologizes for having to do this, but our high school basketball team has to host a region Game Saturday night and therefore we have to be out of there by 7pm.
