  1. Looks like that new front porch is taking shape now, snoballs.
  2. Looks like a biased assessment if I've ever seen one! By the way, NEWS FLASH: BLACKMAN HAS A FUTURE SEC RUNNING BACK ON THEIR TEAM. WHO IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY WOULD HAND IT OFF TO ANYONE ELSE??
  3. It's spelled "DEFENSE" dingaling
  4. Can't wait to see this one! Can someone tell me who's hosting? If it's already been said then excuse my ignorance.
  5. No one on Macon's regular season schedule will hold them to only two td's. They may get out-scored by someone (ref. Goodpasture) but it will take more than just 15 pts.
  6. I'd like to see RBS win this one. GO BULLDOGS!!
  7. It was a joke, slim. I don't know anything about the lineage of kickers at Trousdale, or care, as far as that goes.
  8. Good luck to both teams tomorrow night. I'm taking G-ville by a field goal just because I don't think Trousdale has made a field goal since that kid with a pony tail played in the late 90's. In all seriousness...I hope it's a good one! Wish I could see it!
  9. there is a large part of me that has more respect for kids that play for teams that post dismal records each year than i have for ones that play just because they can be on a winning program. but aside from that, fans that complain about an outcome that most would have predicted can dry it up. it's attitudes like that that are the reason that the game of 'tag' is outlawed on playgrounds across this country. my advice to those fans (not the players, whom i have an unending respect for) is to take your lumps like everyone else does in life and try to give a few lumps back, it'll make you feel better. I was 8-33 in my four years in high school! You must have MAD respect for me! Well said, snoball.
  10. I agree 100%. His father and my grandmother were brother and sister. Good man. Good luck to you guys this season except, of course, when you play the Macon Tigers! BTW, I've seen I'tavius play alot of games. He's the best I've seen. I'd say 250 yds at least.
  11. Good luck Smyrna! Gonna be a tough one!
  12. Hey, pitchfork, how are your blue devils looking this year? Coach Porter is some of my kin-folk. He's a good one...
  13. The 1A and 2A people have nothing else to do!
  14. I'm a little confused but I think I got him figured out. Correct me if I'm wrong: As and infant living in SC and visiting his family in MC he fell off the truck in TC and a young couple found him and took him in. They raised him up and tried to drill the purple and gold into his brain but it didn't work. As soon as he turned 18 he drove up Hwy 10 and found himself a young lady in MC and convinced her to marry him. She did and then he convinced her to move to SC so that they could have children and bring them up through the SC football ranks to reinvent the gridiron legends he now loves to hate. Is that about right?
  15. Geez snoball! Have you moved to Macon yet or are you just a wanna-be? Nice stab at SC, too btw
  16. You must have married in to it. Can't imagine any other reason ...
  17. My prediction: G-ville-52 TC-27 Payback for the other blue tigers!
  18. Take that advice to heart, sno-balls. G-Ville will be ready to play Friday.
  19. I agree, Kevin. Mathers should put on a nice show!
  20. Now, smeagle, you know we can't look ahead! That's the number one rule in football! One week at a time...
  21. I don't know anything about Sycamore but if offense is their strength then that could be bad for Macon. I watched Macon last Friday against Goodpasture and they didn't look like they could stop anyone. On the other hand, doesn't like Macon's passing game could be stopped either. Either way, I hope Macon gets a much needed win here. Anyone have any insight on Sycamore?
  22. You can add Notre Dame, South Carolina and Auburn to that list too. That still doesn't name them all. I attend the games and you're right, milo, he is a class act. A friend of mine teaches at Blackman and says he is also a great student and is a down to earth kid. He is fun to watch. Unfortunately, I'll be out of town for this one but wish Blackman the best. I don't doubt Signal has a good team on the 4A level but they will be out-matched Friday night.
  23. Gutsy call, yes, it was. But I think it was the right call. I don't think they could have matched them score-for-score in OT. GP had the upper hand in talent by far.
