Ive thought long and hard on this one and I think West is on a mission to get back to Chattanooga. Ironically a talented team in Walker Valley located not too far away from there stands in there way. Although I think Walker Valley will move the ball and score on West, I think West will score more. Im going West 31 Walker Valley 14. Go Rebels!

I feel you guys should have won this had you not turned the ball over. 4 is a lot to overcome even with the last one being at the very end. Thats one thing West needs to do this week and thats protect the ball. Luckily the two they had against Powell didnt hurt them worse than prevent scoring opportunities. Go Rebels

You should be...I remember at the beginning of the season people giving you a hard time with those early losses but the team got hot and almost pulled it off last night again. Quarterfinals appeance at home after going on the road and beating Mcminn and Oak Ridge is a huge accomplishment as a 3 seed. Hope you have a Happy Holidays and I look forward to our game next season at West.

First off congrats to Powell on a great season despite losing a ton of talent from last year and navigating a tough schedule along with injuries, still making it to the 3rd round. As long as Lowe is there, they will always be in the mix and from the looks of it will have a ton of talent coming back next year. As for my Rebels very proud of how they played and it seems like they are playing their most complete ball at the perfect time. Tonight was the first night since the Halls game where West turned the ball over which ultimately stopped drives deep in Powell territory and hopefully wont be an issue next week. West defense is on another level right now and that is due to all of their starters healthy for the first time together all season. They really were physical all night and both teams are probably feeling those hits this morning. Hope #2 for Powell is ok I was worried about him when he was face down after a hit, but saw he came back out there but just didn't look the same. Hes a warrior for sure and will be even better next year! Offense running tempo needs to continue for them to be successful as I feel when they go slow it takes them out of their rhythm...something to focus on next week, but loved the balance attack and the huge catch by #9 for West and td run before halftime was a backbreaker. Glad to still be playing and looking forward to a heck of a game against Walker Valley next Friday. Happy Thanksgiving and Holidays to Nut and H also. Go Rebels!

Early thoughts on this one? Walker Valley has an exciting dual threat qb that really put up yards both through the air and on the ground. West defense has allowed 5 total pts through 3 playoff games! Should be a fun one next Friday Night at Bill Wilson Field!

Never thought Id see this much success especially when we won 4 games at most when I played there. Very sad fans are taking this for granted when it can be over at any moment. Win or lose this team will always be special to me and I know Ill be there with a poncho on rooting hard for them! Go Rebels!

I wonder how this will affect the gate also...radio and TV all over this one may cause some to stay home bc of weather. Cleats better be ready to go if that field becomes a sponge. Also of course this is the friday night the storms happen...just blame Packer lol

Perfectly said and this just shows how dominant both programs have been and that this game really determines the East representative. No disrespect to the other teams but this is a tribute to both coaching staffs and players for bringing that consistency week in and week out! May the best team win on Friday!

Its honestly a shame this isnt the semifinals but should be another classic indeed regardless of what round!
