According to UC’s school news it will be at MAHS.

His first transfer was due to his dad becoming head coach at Wooddale. With SCS not playing I imagine they are allowing seniors to transfer to places that are.

I think if you were ineligible during the fall for your grades and you get them up you can play the rest of the year.

We didn’t make the colossal mistakes we made against Peabody. Only 1 turnover I think.

I wouldn’t be shocked if McKenzie won this one. I don’t expect them to but it won’t shock me. McKenzie has something that Union City doesn’t and that’s the speed to hurt Peabody. We weren’t fast to turn the corner. Even when we got there Peabody’s speed allowed them to recover. If McKenzie can avoid turnovers they have a chance.

What region are you wanting to be in? Region 6 isn’t a whole lot better for you and 5 is worse. You guys are not really close to anybody else in 2A.

The West Tennessee teams in 2a just didn’t work out for making easy regions. 18 teams 9 in Memphis and 9 as far away from Memphis as you can get and still be in West Tennessee. There really wasn’t a pretty way to do it

Adamsville may not be closer than Camden to some region 6 teams but the region 6 teams are closer to Adamsville than region 7. Hickman County and East Hickman are as far as Union City but Scotts Hill and Riverside are pretty close.

Adamsville is much closer to the region 6 teams than region 7. South Fulton and West Carroll need to be switched imo

That’s interesting considering there are only 4 games in entirety of Quad 4 this week. Wonder if there would be a shortage if we all had games

Why though? They have beaten Covington the last couple years. Plus now they add Haywood and Crockett probably as region games. I really don’t understand the move. With Milan and Wooddale moving up there are 18 West Tennessee teams in 4A if you include Hardin County. Wooddale, Kirby, Craigmont, Ridgeway, Melrose and Fayette-Ware is probably one region. The rest will be probably split along I-40 so Hardin, McNairy, Chester, Lexington, South Side and Liberty in one region North Side, South Gibson, Milan, Crockett, Obion and Haywood in the other. Winning the region won’t be easier. Getting out of the West won’t be either.

Defense was a lot better after getting some key starters back. Hopefully we can play this well the rest of the way out.

That would be my guess too. It would be a 9 team region which isn’t ideal but there really isn’t anyone close enough to throw in with them to make 2 regions work.
