Camden hasn't scored any points against us this year. We deserve the rain jokes cause we should have played that game. Don't worry about all the Huntingdon fans I'm sure they will pop up Friday night after we beat yall, but I think to be fair you only have to eat the crow for me and football lover since no one else wants to talk now. We got problems on our line but I think we werent ready for a great milan team either and they were ready for us. I think if we come out focused and ready we can pull out a W on the Rebels this year. The line just needs to step up and play better, footballover is right we got lots of weapons I think even with that you wont be able to stop us every drive. I see this being a high scoring game from both teams guess we'll find out friday.

Well played, that was the worst decision the Huntingdon staff has ever made. Still mad about that one. We dont play many good teams even if we got a good team it'll hurt come playoff time and Milan had us circled but not playing 1st 2 weeks and then a low depth team hurt things worse that game. I'm sure we'll play but if you guys since the game is at mckenzie though.

Well on one side we got the best 1A Carroll County team going against the worst 2A Carroll County team. Should be a close game till the end I'll go with the mustangs by 8.

We mercy ruled them before halftime last year, they score over 60 on us in return. Losing your line makes a big difference too, got some good ones in the backfield but you are only as good as your blockers. That def made a difference too, still cant believe they did that. 2 bye weeks in a row is not good. Thank you hoofbeat, I believe that might've been the time we played Union City and it was pouring rain hard. We still played the game that night at least. Big Swo can tell me if Im right or wrong about that if he is on here still but he probably left aafter finding out the score cause hes a tornado fan lol.

Fans of Mustangs please stay the whole game and support the team especially if it is a home game. Them kids work hard even though they got some work to do. BigPurple was right when he said Mustangs would be getting up he was talking about the fans yall got up and left and had a decent crowd till 4th. Some left at half. Gonna eat my crow in this thread since I'm in the 1A board a lot more than 3A board. Congrats Bulldogs I actually thought you would win, but didnt wanna say it on here and didnt think you would blow us out the way you did. We got a lot of problems on the line that is something we need a lot of work on. We played a real tough team tonight and the 2 bye weeks didnt help either. I am sure we will bounce back and change things as the season continues. Hope the Bulldogs stay strong & healthy the rest of the season and get a win over alcoa this year. Dont get cocky over this one win remember liberty stay focused like that game. Hoofbeat, speaking of alcoa what is the most points score against us before milan did it tonight, my guess would be alcoa when they beat us 52-41 but not sure.

Huntingdon has one of the longest football traditions so it dont look bad if Milan does lose to them, whether Huntingdon is in 1A, 2A, or whatever classification they are in, Huntingdon and Milan have one of the most heated rivalries in not just West TN High School Football, but the whole state of TN. There has been a lot of classic matches between these schools. Huntingdon usually tries to play a tough schedule no matter where they get classified but unfortunetly they cant control their region opponents, they try to make sure they play Milan, Camden and McKenzie, then try to play other non region teams like in the past Martin Westview and Union City. The only opponents in our region that Huntingdon is probably glad to play is Bruceton cause it is a county rivalry and Wayne County because they got a good football team, that isnt a knock to the other teams on the schedule we just like to play tough schedules and some of them schools just dont have enough players to have the depth to be good. It'll only look bad if bulldogs play like they did last year which I think they will play better than that, because if that dont fire you up enough to play some ball then you dont got the heart to be a bulldog, cause that school is full of tradition. I'm sure Coach Morris reminded them of the score last year, hopefully Im wrong and his memory isnt good enough lol, no Milan will be ready to play. We should be too but the fact we played 1 game only and whipped them last year should make it hard on us I think it'll be a close game either way. Still think my Mustangs will win but think it'll be close either way. Game of the Week in my opinion no matter who else is playing this week. GO MUSTANGS!!!!

No it wasn't a knock at 1A schools I like to have catchy titles if I make them I waited till most of Saturday to make this one. I wanted the title to be Mustangs Undefeated against 3A Schools and Milan Undefeated against 1A schools, if we'd have beaten Camden which I believe we wouldvem but didnt get a chance to do it because of the rain of all things, on the rare chance it rains tonights game out we better go to Johnnie Hale Stadium in Milan TN tomorrow over not having a game. Like BigPurple said there is a 3A board for this matchup too. Some years the 1A board is bigger some years the 3A board is better, none the less people are talking about it. Up in the tie we got between games is what I meant, but I get your post BigPurple you meant in the rankings yeah we will probably go up in that too.

I just wanna say this I know its not supposed to rain but man if it does and it cancels the game, we better still play the game even if it is at Milan. I agree Mustangs better be ready to play ball because Milan I promise you remembers last year and will be out for vengence. I want the mustangs to win for sure, but either way I want this one to be a close classic game. I believe the bulldogs are a great team this year and hope they play their best even if it means we lose, not playing Camden dont leave many competitive games for us this season whether we are good or not, and I'd like a barnburner with a good team before we play wayne county late in the season. Great that means Mustangs should be up after this Friday Night

Well Huntingdon got to finally play a football game last week and looked pretty good. Milan is pretty good this year as well. Milans got us circled on that calender after last year embarassing Mercy Rule game 49-14, so the Mustangs better be ready to play as well. Should be a great game my favorite and most anticipated game every year during the regular season. Mustangs are undefeated so far and Milan lost 1 close game to a great Liberty team. I'll give my thoughts in a later post but who do you got and why?

Well we had them penaltywise need to fix them but other than that great job Mustangs if we stay healthy we might do great things this year. Collinwood I think yall played a good game yall just didnt have the talent to cover everything we did and didnt really have a film of a full game because we havent played one yet. I think yall might make the playoffs. Good luck to yall rest of the season.

Good I hope him and the rest of the trojans will be ready to play some ball with us as I want some competition we lost one of our only few competitive games this season already. We still got Milan, Wayne County, and maybe McKenzie (hard to say cause they haven't been challenged yet). I think we will be a playoff team but playing tough teams during the season prepares you and gives you a better shot to go further if you have a healthy team. This game will prepare Collinwood if they keep winning as well and I have seen some upsets and teams you not expect to go big go far. Looking forward to seeing that great player either way. If the not good at passes they probably better off trying to run and see what happens we got some players that I believe will pick them off if their QB is not accurate or the players dont follow their route good.

Other than some scrimmages which you cant tell much, Mustang Fans dont know much about Huntingdon yet for the most part. I think its gonna be different from what we are used to seeing but I still feel we have a strong team this year. Collinwood seems on right track starting 2-0 I still think Mustangs will win I think we will have problems at the line this time its hard to say. Collinwood might have a advantage by playing 2 games, because of that they might can get the W. I think it might be even or close at halftime cause of first game jitters too.

I spelled it right in the topic I think I made a typo and wrote Collingwood in the title and erased the g and made a capital W for some reason. I know my character is based on a sesame street muppet however I do make spelling errors on here as I post a lot on here. I dont wanna offend the trojans cause that wasnt my intention. I don't usually even like to do that when we play a team doesnt mean I wont have fun talking smack expect the opponent to do it too all in good fun. Wildcat89 do you anyone else or a mod know how to edit a title because I can't figure it out, I don't wanna be disrespectful to Collinwood fans in the title, they got a great fanbase over there and great sportsmanship too.

What are your thoughts, Congrats on the 2-0 record so far Trojans and I'm sure Collinwood has improved and will be wanting some revenge, however even though we haven't played yet I think the Mustangs will get a victory on Friday.

Why bump there is no game tonight. Huntingdon might be the only high school in TN not to play a football game yet. It stinks but it is what it is.

I'll say what I did last year Mitchell will win.......Band wise, but the ball game will go to Union City by 3 touchdowns or more.

Yes it will pick up during the weekend and next week I am sure. Get ready to see a different type of Mustangs than you are used to seeing but still a team that will have a 8-2 9-1 slight chance at a perfect season this year. I would like to ask all mustang on this board to be smart what u say on here please, sometimes you need to let the other team find out stuff for theirselves is what I mean.
