I was wondering how long it would take for somebody to start this crap. TSSAA set a limit for enrollment for 1A and somebody has to be at the top of that. No one said anything when we won state last year as one of the smaller 2A teams did they?

Marion's biggest problem was that their offense was too one dimensional. The old school wingt ball control offense don't work well when the other team has a fast athletic defense that can fly to the ball. And the opposing offense has enough speed to put points on the board. We shutdown MC's offense early and their D couldn't handle our speed on offense. Once we got up by a few scores we went conservative and just held our lead till the end. Against a fast strong D like our's that offense takes to long to score. Once they had to start trying to pass we had them. You have to respect that they continued to fight till the end.

We are not just a running team. We can and do throw the ball. If running is what's working in a game we run if passing works we pass. That's what makes us dangerous. We can do both. Our QB last week was 10 of 17 for 123. #5 had 5 catches for 93 and one touchdown and avg 18.6 a catch. Our coach sees what the other teams D is allowing us to do and makes adjustments accordingly.

Coach Woods is a proven winner. I doubt he's gonna let these boys overlook this game. He'll have them ready.

We ran the ball 58 times. Malone had 39 carries for 330 yards and Johnson had 19 for 109 yards and 3 TDs. I think that was the difference in the game. Our speed gave us the ability to run the ball and control the clock at the end.

I don't know about any of that but the fans standing by the fence around me all applauded when it was announced that Akin set the record. I for one have nothing but respect for the TCA fans players and coaching staff. Blake Butler has built a heck of a program. Try not to judge a program by a few individuals that can't win with honor and dignity. I saw a few dirty plays by some TCA players but I'm not on here trying to run the program down for it. It's football those things happen it's part of the game. People's emotions run high and they make decisions and do things they otherwise wouldn't. So again please don't judge all of us based off of a few.

Here we go again round 2 of Peabody Mckenzie. This game scares me a little. After dominating Mckenzie earlier in the year hope our boys don't overlook the rebels. This looks like a different Mckenzie team. I think we will be the favorite but hoping we don't have a let down after winning a big game against TCA. ROLL TIDE!!!

I've been telling ppl that y'all's running game is good but goes unnoticed due to the fact y'all's passing game is so good. I agree y'all's running game keeps defense honest. And I'm with you the winner will be determined by which defense can make the handful stops needed.

Yeah I was counting anyone lining up in the backfield. We may have the edge running but y'all definitely have the advantage passing.

The last I checked we are capable of scoring points and have a pretty solid defense. This game is hard to predict it could be a blow out or close guess we'll see Friday. ROLL TIDE!!!

It's a football rivalry game take a joke it's just good natured smack talking. It's meant to be a fun way to pass time till the game. Me calling them Scumboldt is no worse than others calling us Pee-body. No one seemed to be bothered by that.

Looks like Peabody should win a fourth straight against Scumboldt. Hoping we run away with it.

42-16 final congrats UC

This is a tough game to pick. Both teams are really good with totally different styles. We usually struggle with offenses like UC. It could be a shoot out or a blow out it all depends on what our defense does. Our offense can score some points but can our D slow down the UC offense? We'll see Friday. ROLL TIDE!!!

How do y'all see this game playing out? I think it should be another easy win. Hoping for an injury free game for both side. ROLL TIDE!!!

Couldn't tell much about how good Greenfield's QB is this past week due to the Oline not giving him anytime to do anything. UC will put this game away early. We scored 30 in the 1st quarter. Greenfield just doesn't have the speed or athletes to compete with the top of the district.

I think Dresden is going to struggle big time with UC's speed. They couldn't handle our speed. I haven't seen UC play but I've heard a lot about their speed.

Thanks for the praise. Hoping when our teams meet up we give y'all a good game. We should only have the one lose and y'all should be undefeated. That makes for a big game. It'll be the district championship game.

If and that's a big IF we are on the other side of a score like this it won't be your team that does it. Not sure what you mean by not all we are cracked up to be. What did you want us to do score 50 more on y'all?
