  1. Giles plays in 4A, so they cannot face either CPA or PC in the playoffs
  2. I think that if Greeneville and Maplewood are to meet this year it will be a two touchdown game. Greeneville was clearly superior last year but this has the potential to be a much better game this year. When Greeneville went undefeated in 2010, Maplewood was the only one who could even give them a game, and it was a pretty good one at that.
  3. I couldn't be a lawyer...too much arguing for me I'll stop talking about English and get back on topic now though I posted a Top 5 earlier in this thread, but now I'll post a little bit of an "unconventional" Top 10...I went out on a limb for some of these, and no disrespect is intended to teams who are listed lower than one would expect: 1. Greeneville 2. Maplewood 3. Signal Mountain 4. Fulton 5. Covington 6. White House 7. Giles County 8. Liberty 9. Livingston Academy 10. Lexington Just missing out are Dyersburg and DeKalb County
  4. Actually, you failed to use it correctly not once, but twice. Example A: "snoball your really nothing but a smart ellic..." The correct usage would be "you're," otherwise known as the contraction for "you are." As in "snoball you are really nothing but a smart ellic..." Example B: "And your the type that get murdered" The correct usage in this case would also be "you're," as in "And you are the type that gets murdered."

  6. What sad news for all of us...RIP Andy
  7. I think you're exactly right, SweetScience. The $4,000 tuition fee for Oak Ridge does seem extremely high, especially compared to other public schools who only charge $500. I wouldn't imagine that overcrowding would be a barrier to lowering that high tuition either, as enrollment numbers are decreasing like you said. However, I fully expect Oak Ridge to be on the short list of state title contenders in the new (potential) 4A with or without lowering the tuition fees.
  8. Personally, I would play in the class that the TSSAA puts us in. If that means that my school is dropped a classification by the TSSAA, I wouldn't fight that decision. I don't see that as backing away from a challenge, just playing where you belong. Best of luck to Oak Ridge either way
  9. Don't forget that since the TSSAA is out to get Maryville...they may bump the Rebels up to the AFC North next year
  10. I don't believe he ever said that more than one of those three would make it...I'm actually pretty sure that's not possible
  11. No bone to pick with Hampton at all, and I think that they will have a good season this year as well...however, the Bulldogs did get bounced in the second round of the playoffs by an Oneida team that Oliver Springs beat.
  12. I'll go ahead and throw out a score prediction: Signal Mountain 41 East Hamilton 17
  13. Here's my Top 10: 1. Grace Christian 2. Boyd Buchanan 3. Friendship Christian 4. Trousdale County 5. Adamsville 6. Humboldt 7. Dresden 8. Oliver Springs 9. Rockwood 10. McKenzie Just missing the cut are Westwood, Oneida, Forrest, and Riverside
  14. I had planned on it...but your reasoning just was too strong for me that time
  15. Well you know...it's actually kinda hard to argue with that
  16. Would you also want Open Enrollment schools to have to wear skirts and get no state assistance for education? Because they have the same advantages that private schools do
  17. CMM4CPA, This is a quote from the article that you provided a link to: “It was genuine tough since a group didn’t know how to respond with a harmed Albert,†pronounced quarterback/defensive behind Vic Wharton, who scored dual touchdowns in a initial half. “It was rough.†Rough, indeed.
  18. I think it was a combination of the TSSAA, the Freemasons, and the Illuminati all plotting to take MARYVILLE down
  19. Just curious, but why would one infer from JebronLames' post that Vic is going to Alcoa? Did I miss something? This is hard to keep up with
  20. Because we all know that public schools don't cheat any, right?
  21. I have no doubt about the poll championship won in 1964, but if you look closely at the picture, you can see that the first one says 1970 and the fourteenth says 2012. I just thought it was something funny, I wouldn't be shocked at all if the Rebels win it all again this year.
  22. The TSSAA determines classification, so that's not something that a school controls. And I highly doubt any team that has won a gold ball is sitting around wishing they were "better"
  23. That looks extremely nice! I think that is a great way to honor past Rebel state championship teams. I also noticed that there were 14 state championship banners pictured in the artist's rendering. Subliminal messaging possibly?
  24. You can use the term "open enrollment" if you wish
