Or, you can come to Sycamore to "mop up". Really Sommers, I would expect that from a little kid but not an adult. I figure with 2494 posts you would be experienced enough at this to keep your snide remarks to yourself. They asked a question, and I gave them an answer. Far as I can tell it was none of your business. While I am at it, I am busting my butt to build a respectable program at Sycamore with next to no help. I founded the youth program with my own money and secured a building, which I pay rent, to hold practices for the youth kids. Last season we hosted La Rue County Ky, #2 in Kentucky, Wilson Central, state ranked, and ourselves, that would be Sycamore, 4th in small school duals and state ranked. I am sorry the other schools attending are not ranked but I am sure they work hard to get there and probably spend more time building their programs then you do on these boards, and at the very least you owe them an apology for insulting them. My question to you is, how did you build your program?

Sycamore War Eagles will be hosting 2 tournaments this season. We are looking for teams for both. 1. Sycamore Duals. Saturday, December 15, 2012. This will be a "Small School Duals" atmosphere. We have 6 teams and will take two more. Hospitality for coaches and officials. Top two teams receive a plaque. Teams committed so far, Sycamore, Alcoa, East Lit., MLK, Page, and Raliegh Egypt. 2. Sycamore Invitational. Saturday, January 12, 2013. 16 man, double elimination. Top 4 teams receive plaques. Top 4 individuals receive medals. Outstanding wrestler award 106-145 and 152-HWT, and best match award. Hospitality for coaches and officials, we had some great food last year. Last year we started 5 minutes late and we finished before dark. Things went very smoothly. We do an old school finals with the championship matches on the center mat under a single row of lights. Yes, we did finish before dark. We will also have a mat set up for the girls this year. We will match them up as best we can and we will have medals for them. Scheduling does permit. Sycamore will be hosting a Small School duals tournament Saturday December 15. Already committed Sycamore, Alcoa, Mlk, East Lit, Page, and Raliegh Egypt. We are looking for 2 more schools to make an even 8. We may open this up to big schools if there is interest.

The Sycamore High School Wrestling program will be hosting a "Small School" Duals Tournament Saturday, Dec.15th. We would like 4-6 teams from the Mid-Tenn area not planning on attending the MTGC. Clarksville Academy has signed up. That gives us 16 teams....because some teams dont have a full line-up I will be open to adding a couple more....Any takers?
