This year will be successful no matter what, but we'll be fine. However, "devastating" is not the word I'd use in this case (especially since very few are giving us a chance). Devastating to me would be like interviewing for a dream job only to get turned down and learn later that I had one of the worst interviews ever.
We'll see, just outside of the top 5 could be anywhere from 6 to 9 and that's not "illogical" for us to be there at year's end. Next time I'll dumb it down for you more so you'll understand a little better.
We have you guys pretty early and hopefully do better than last season! We're deep in spots with some weight classes having multiple state qualifiers (except for 106), but as usual we'll be missing some starters until football is over. My guess we'll be close to the top 5 by year's end.
We did get a super nice transfer from GA (Trion-Grindhouse kid), I'll be anxious to see him more once he's done with football...
I'm glad he's here, but why repeat your post or even feel the need to validate things? I'd say it's pretty obvious to anyone who questioned the move who came out on the better end of things.
I'm not saying "never", but this year it ain't happening. I will say this though, just be happy we decided to play up a class because HC wouldn't have sniffed a 5A title otherwise.
Powell maybe, but the others as far as I know aren't bringing in a ton of open zoned kids. Regardless of where HC is located, my point is the myth that teams are afraid to play HC is exactly that, a myth...
