You know what's funny, Ron? One of my cousins is a Mount Juliet guy and says Boo Boo bear is delusional. He said Wilson Central is extremely small this year and MJ barely beat them. Yeah, sure Boo Boo can point out that we came out flat against Bearden (which is true) but we still shut them out. Cuz says MJ would be a mid tier 5A team in this area if they continue to play like that.

Tony Styles had the 4th down stop for Cleveland but Smyrna definitely had some studs on that team. One you mentioned was a D1 All American (Luke Powell @ Stanford). He was the WR against Cleveland but played QB for them his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years.

Hammontree gave Monroe the defense we ran against Smyrna, we couldn't score because all of our starters at RB and WR were injured.

The only reason that semifinals wasn't Maryville versus Cleveland was due to injuries. Smyrna was good, but they couldn't hang with us full strength when we beat them in the regular season and neither could have Cleveland. Unfortunately we'll never know.

You got beat by a terrible Oak Ridge team last season at home..... They're probably the 5th or 6th best 5A team here, yet you guys thrive in "big boy football".

That mentality gets us out of the Quarterfinals every year.

You obviously haven't been to the live scrimmages when we play Central, it's not even close.

28-0 Maryville. Offense started slow, defense continues to make big stops and is getting better every week. It would have been nice to see a running clock but I'll take the W with some room for improvement.

Not everyone just MJ, more than likely better than Ravenwood too. Last year's Ravenwood squad was WAY overhyped so I'll believe it when I see it.... Last year we beat the #1 contender in the semis and my money's on us meeting them again. If you think Brentwood's better than Alcoa, keep dreaming.

Outside of IMG who you got?? Until Brentwood wins something I'm not sold on them but IMG is legit. I'm not privy to Ravenwood's schedule so if I'm missing anyone outside of those 2 you'll have to enlighten me.

Actually I would have said Blackman based on their schedule with the Boro teams, Alcoa, and Ravenwood. However, best believe that Alcoa would shut you guys at your house 95% of the time.

Okay Boo Boo, let's see if you make it past the quarters. One team in 6A (maybe) has tougher regular season schedule than us and it's not MJ.

I played with the guy (Nix) and I'd still take our D coordinator every day and twice in Sundays. Former Rebel or not, he's not better than who we have now nor was he better than Gaylor.
