I took in the game also. To be blunt, Whitwell has one person that can dribble under pressure and she is mostly right handed. Good teams will expose that.

No disrespect to Whitwell fans BUT if you beat Grundy County, which is a better than average AA team, then you may have something. That would be a good measuring stick for you to see how well your guards and post do against them. Region 4 will be better than Grundy whether it is Jackson Co or who ever finish 2nd.

Since Marion county lost the best player to come through the district in the last 100 years due to graduation, you may be right. Sale Creek will surprise some folks but in my opinion Whitwell cant compete with region 3 teams whether its at Whitwell or not. Red Boiling Springs lost plyers to graduation also but will still be tough and lets not forget Jackson County.

I find it amusing that you South Pittsburg assistant coach's and fans on here think that Stone shuld be the next Marion coach. There are bigger fish to catch other than him. My money would be on Danny Wilson....sit back and watch.......
